I don't have an issue with it.
What is more likely, your QB getting you negative points and losing, or a scoring change lower your current score and you potentially losing?
Both seem very unlikely.
Dobbs trade seems to say, we want to compete for a playoff spot.
We will resign Cousins for 2024.
We will once again be looking for a future QB with a mid to late first round pick.
It seems to fit the Vikings story line.
For this week I would say:
1-Heineke (if he gets the start)
2-Rypien (has a little more experience)
3-Hall (I suspect it will be Mullens when he is healthy)
Lots of fan talk not in favor of trading anything for someone who keeps them in the playoff hunt but not good enough to take them anywhere in the playoffs. Fans would rather be bad so they are in a better position to draft a rookie QB next year. I still believe the most likely outcome is the...
I'm not sure Brissett does much of anything over Mullens. Mullens has to get healthy but they traded to get Mullens to be the backup. Of course the hope was always as a fill in if Cousins were to miss a couple of games and be back. Many of the local fans don't want to see them trade any draft...
Most likely outcome I think is Jaren Hall starts until Mullens is back. They sign a free agent this week to serve as the backup until Mullens comes off IR.
The injury might increase the likelihood that Cousins signs a deal to return to the Vikings next year if other teams avoid him in free...
A lock HOFer is probably too strong a statement. Taking what he has done and a reasonable projection for the rest of his career makes him a strong candidate.
I guess it's possible he could Antonio Brown on us.
No real name but speaking in general terms you can sometimes steal a little value picking up a backup in a high powered offense and hope. Example might be Cerick Wilson in Miami if Waddle misses a game or two. These can be tough to predict but looking at potential fill in players for teams like...
There isn't too much to get excited about in my leagues.
The Rams RB situation was a split last week. You could take a chance on one of them for week 8. Someone may emerge there for week 9 but then week 10 is a bye and in week 11 the top 2 guys may come off IR.
Pretty much everyone else is...
I'm not so worried about the Rams signing 3 RB. They did lose two. I may be forced to start Evans but my biggest worry is we don't know if this rookie is ready from a pass protection standpoint. We could be looking after the game and one of the veterans might get most of the work. We also don't...
My greatest dynasty concern with Mayer is from what I have read he is a good all around TE which means he could be used a lot as a blocker and limiting some of his going out to catch passes.
