Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' is the absolute worst. I have always hated Journey for foisting this abomination upon the world. Even worse, it's catchy as hell.
You make me weep and want to die
Just when you said we'd try
Lovin', touchin', squeezin' each other
When I'm alone all by myself
You're out...
In discussing this with my stockbroker and others who have retired with my system, it appears that taking my full retirement benefits and a laddered term life plan in case of early croaking are the best way to handle this.
I haven't been around much lately, I opened up FBG and saw this thread. I am 60, worrierqueen is 59 and retired, and I'm looking to pull the trigger at 62. I work in local government and qualify for the pension now that I hit 60. Last year we bought our retirement home, a small house on a local...
Half PPR Flex
Javonte Williams or Brandin Cooks.
Most places have Javonte slightly higher ranked, but my opponent has Dak, and I am leaning toward Cooks to cover against a Dak eruption. Curious If anyone has studied this strategy to see what actually works better. I'd love to see the conclusion.
I voted That Girl Could Sing, but would have chosen Rock Me on the Water had it been available. That's a song for the "I'm in hospice and dying" playlist.
I'm the guy choosing Jackson Browne stuff in the music countdown/list threads. Don't understand the hatred, as he is one of the greatest...
Thanks to the participants who removed Drive-by Truckers and Los Lobos from my list of potential artists. I'm going to lay low for a while and see who else is taken before I select. I have 6-8 or so under consideration.
Just "celebrated" the third anniversary of Hurrican Laura. I never thought I would be in the eye of a category 4 storm. SW Louisiana has still not recovered. Housing is still in short supply and we have a worker shortage much greater than the rest of the country due to the lack of low-end...
Thanks KP. I struggle with the synths on both The Envoy and Sentimental Hygiene, two of his solid 80s efforts. The whole 80s production era is a problem for me. There's a great song by Robert Cray called Right Next Door, that I love (I picked it in one of these MAD drafts), but they took a real...
Here's the Playlist for Warren Zevon, which includes the mysteriously deleted Accidentally Like a Martyr.

Thanks to all participants and especially Zegras and KP. I will be going through the playlists of some of the artists I don't know over the next few weeks. Are we creating our own top 31 lists in Spotify? If so, I'll work on that.
Thanks Middle-age Dummies for indulging my Warren Zevon obsession. I hope you enjoyed and found some new songs you like.
At some point in preparing my list of the top 31, Accidentally Like a Martyr disappeared. It should have been somewhere in the mid teens...
