We all know this, but it takes a village for an NFL QB - especially a rookie - to be successful. We look at a Drake Maye or Jaxson Dart, who have thrived as rookies in also poor situations, but those guys are the exception rather than the rule. Hopefully some regime gets in there to really help...
I can see why he’s a tough drop because of the offense he plays in and his strong finish last year. But his production has obviously fallen off this year, both with and without Rice, so it’s more hopium than anything I guess.
Penix needs ACL repair with at least 9 months of recovery. Definitely a bit of concern for his value next year given how much Penix has locked in on him.
I think he meant more with Cousins being the QB more so than the injury keeping him out long term. At least that’s what I think he meant - there could be some validity to it, but he’s still going to get fed if he plays.

Pretty much the same in one of my leagues. Fortunately next year we’ll also be playing against the median, but may still miss the playoffs this year because of a bunch of bad beats despite high scores.
