  1. Back from a winning poker session at my casino. Still giddy that the internet is fighting back against these naked shorts. We are in a pandemic and these hedge funds are trying to destroy the one game retail outlet in America and movie theaters. These jerks can rot in hell. I am setting a limit sell order of AMC at $100 so they also can't borrow against my shares at the open. This game has been so rigged against the common investor for so long that I am happy to try and do my part in jamming up their bets against companies. If they want to smash the prices, I will be buying.
  2. I'm holding a large position of AMC at an average cost of $13.62. 38 million short interest out of 1.2 billion volume today. The afterhours trades are not material. The panic at today's real close told the story. David and Goliath and all. Best of luck everyone. Today was epic fun.
  3. Cuts are 4,000 teams to 2,000 to 1,000 as stated in the rules: https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/playoffcontestrules20.php
  4. As a tradition, we always soft release this contest in the Shark Pool first. Kick the tires and see if you can break it. https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/entry.php
  5. Much love everyone. It has been a great journey from the most humbling of beginnings at mrfootball to the temp hangout of Cheatsheets.net and finally to the place I have called home for my adult life here at Footballguys. I love everyone of you and thank you for making my dream of working in this industry possible all these years. It's been an unbelievable ride and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
  6. If neither candidate gets a majority of the 538 electoral votes, the election for President is decided in the House of Representatives, with each state delegation having one vote. This might be worse than a tie in football.
  7. Doesn't PA have a huge coal industry that Joe wants to abolish? I have never understood why the polls seemingly were giving Biden the state. This week's rallies for Trump in PA were huge too. If Trump wins PA he keeps the Whitehouse.
  8. If you want to follow someone with a lot more realistic assessment of things: https://twitter.com/Wizard_Predicts
  9. Hanging on to ratings by trying to make this look closer than it is. I don't think it's particularly close and the sportsbooks lines are an indication of the real news happening here
  10. All these shows are showing Biden with won states when he has less than 40% of a state's vote. Trump has to be 20% ahead with 90% in before they give the state to Trump. Comical to say the least. I expect Virginia, Maine etc do go to Biden, but he is not winning those races right now.
  11. The piece I have always said about polls is they don't factor in the seriousness of the vote. Trump supporters are rabid in their support for him and that is seen at the rallies. Lots of Biden votes are anti-Trump and not all that excited about their candidate. Rabid fans vote. People not feeling it sometimes vote. This was the same when Obama steamrolled the vote. People came to his speeches in droves and although polling had him winning, he also overperformed the polling.
  12. I still suspect that the polling doesn't adequately cover the Trump support. It's way easier to say Orange Man Bad when someone calls than find yourself on some dox list. It's way easier not to engage on Facebook, Twitter, or this board than to face a mob mentality whose mind is already decided that Trump is the reason for every problem. Things indicating Trump is doing way better: - In my neighborhood, I count Trump banners/flags 4 to 1 in favor of Trump - Rallies/events are big for Trump and virtually non-existent for Biden - The Biden corruption stories are heating up
  13. I think playing Monday makes the most sense especially if the facilities can be reopened up Friday.
  14. I sent a note to Bloom who looks like he accidentally did not project for him

  16. We are looking to release the contest by Wednesday, August 5th so that we can have pricing reflective of the possible opt-outs.
  17. Guys, Things don't perfectly balance via team totals right now by design. That is being worked and will improve over the next week, but some situations are too fluid to have right before the draft commences.
  18. Joe is ready to take a hands-on approach to America’s problems. https://joebiden.info/
  19. Donald Trump isn't impeached until the articles of impeachment are sent to the Senate. https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2019-12-19/trump-impeachment-delay-could-be-serious-problem-for-democrats Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.
  20. Not a big reader of Breitbart, but it sounds like opening remarks, no new witnesses, and a vote. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/12/17/mcconnell-suggests-senate-will-move-to-dismiss-impeachment-after-opening-arguments/
  21. Barr's two minutes here explains why this IG report is so damning and why many believe criminal indictments are coming. https://twitter.com/JohnWHuber/status/1204544953948528640
  22. The conspiracy theorists are saying Trump is talking to them: 9 = I, 13 = M, 17 = Q
  23. China tripling down on Trump losing in 2020. Calculated gamble I guess. Could pay off big for China or could have them negotiating an even worse deal with Trump. I suspect their economy gets hurt more than ours in the run up to 2020.
  24. So Sorry to hear this. Words are completely inadequate to tell you the deep sorrow that we all feel for your loss.
