  1. 👍 This is the big philosophical evolution I have made in fantasy, especially, dynasty in the past couple of years - be willing to overpay or overdraft players you want and believe in. I used to always rely on getting the most value I could but values are set by where players are today. We are trying to predict the future so make a (educated) prediction even if current values say you "lost" a trade. First of all, if you are right, you didn't overpay or overdraft. Second, we do this silly hobby of trying to predict the unpredictable because it is supposed to be fun, so go out there
  2. 12 team, .05 PPR (with yardage scoring bump for TEs) QB / 1 RB / 2 WR / 1 TE / 1 FLEX Team A gave: Goedert, Parker, Peterson. 2021 2nd Team B gave: Herndon, Thielen, Moss
  3. Team A gives: 2020 1.07 + 1.08 rookie picks Team B gives: Kamara
  4. Just did this: I gave: 1.06 + Penny (to the Carson owner) I got: 1.04 Drafted Lamb at 1.04 (just took Dobbins at 1.03)
  5. I agree (and I'm the rebuilder). Really, I need to flip this script on this team. Wasn't super-excited about giving away Ridley (young guy I should be building around) but there were enough assets here for me to pull the trigger and this hobby is supposed to be fun, so a lot of picks --> more trade trading --> more moves ---> more fun!
  6. This just happened: Team A gives: Beckham, Odell CLE WR Ridley, Calvin ATL WR Year 2022 Round 3 Draft Pick Team B gives: Year 2020 Draft Pick 1.03 Year 2021 Round 1 Draft Pick Year 2021 Round 2 Draft Pick Year 2022 Round 1 Draft Pick Year 2022 Round 2 Draft Pick Smith, Tre'Quan NOS WR 50% of 2020 blind bidding (fake) dollars 50% of 2020 blind bidding (fake) dollars Team A is rebuilding and is now completely bereft of talent but also already has pick 1.06 and 1.09 this year. I'm one of these teams. 😶
  7. This is one of those trades that looks real fair to me and may fit both team needs. Team A gets the best player/safest player while Team B receives a good hall and may give him a broader positional upside. I think solid trade all around. I like to see trades like this as opposed to fleecings. 👊
  8. dynasty, 12 Team, PPR, QB,1 RB, 2WR, 1 Flex WR/RB, TE Team A gets J. McKinnon, 2019 2.08, 2020 2nd (team has T. Coleman) Team B gets L. Miller, D. Cain, 2019 3.04 (team has Duke Johnson)
  9. Team A. I don't see a scenario where Hyde runs away with the job. At best he works his way into a timeshare that devalues all the RBs.
  10. Right. Which was my point. Lockett came in at as WW19 (PPR) on less than half the targets of Diggs who came is as WR12 (PPR). Now the previous WR1 for Seattle is gone. I think it's safe to assume Lockett will see more targets. Possibly/probably. However, with a healthy Dalvin Cook it wouldn't surprise me to see a downtick in targets for Diggs closing the gap. I'm assuming you meant an unsustainable ratio of TDs to targets and/or receptions which is a good point. However, if Lockett's targets and receptions goes up, his TDs can remain stable. Look... I'm not sa
  11. Well, since you ask, I'll take on the argument: Lockett has the better QB and perhaps the best deep ball throwing QB in the NFL Lockett has an historically efficient 2018 in terms of targets vs. production Lockett is now the undisputed #1 WR on his team
