  1. Here's where I ended up. Not ready to hit the panic button on Zeke yet, but his usage last night is at least concerning. Went with a lot of pass-catching RBs and #2 WRs. I always try to pair up my QB with a top pass-catching option. Will I be gone sooner rather than later? Probably. I figure if nothing else this roster is unique. Flame away! QB - Dak Prescott - 22 QB - Sam Darnold - 8 QB - Jared Goff - 8 RB - Ezekiel Elliott - 27 RB - Kareem Hunt - 20 RB - James Conner - 17 RB - Kenyan Drake - 14 RB - Nyheim Hines - 11 RB - Tevin Coleman - 9 WR - CeeDee Lamb - 23 WR - Robby Anderson - 16 WR - Mecole Hardman - 10 WR - Parris Campbell - 6 WR - Marquez Callaway - 5 WR - Bryan Edwards - 4 WR - DWayne Eskridge - 3 TE - T.J. Hockenson - 19 TE - C.J. Uzomah - 7 TE - Chris Herndon - 5 PK - Younghoe Koo - 4 PK - Brandon McManus - 3 TD - Los Angeles Rams - 6 TD - Chicago Bears - 3
  2. My guess, and it is strictly a guess, is their licensing deal with the NFL is about to expire and they want to show the NFL how many of their subscribers are utilizing it so they can keep it.
  3. Made final tweaks today by dropping a RB, adding a WR and switching one TE. I have no more than one BYE at a position every week. Here's the breakdown with rosters locking today. QB - 3 @ $38 RB - 6 @ $101 WR - 7 @ $67 TE - 3 @ $31 K - 2 @ $7 DEF - 2 @ 9 --------------------------------- Week 6 - $18 on BYE Week 7 - $77 on BYE Week 8 - $18 on BYE Week 9 - $30 on BYE Week 10 - $10 on BYE Week 11 - $9 on BYE Week 12 - $27 on BYE Week 13 - $44 on BYE Week 14 - $17 on BYE Best of luck to everyone this season!
  4. Same. If they can keep my bill where it's at year after year with the same (or slightly better) discounts, I'm not worried about having to deal with cancellations and re-hookups. 🤷‍♂️
  5. Much like @Dacomish, I think I'm done unless some breaking news affects the fantasy landscape in the next 5 days. QB - 3/$38 RB - 7/$103 WR - 6/$65 TE - 3/$31 K - 2/$7 DEF - 2/$9 I think there's a good chance every player will have a chance to contribute any week with 2 late-season gems if things play out like I think they could. Best of luck to all!
  6. For reference, I got the email for free Sunday Ticket last year as well. Still called to get credits and got $50 each month for a year. Keeps my bill low enough to stay with them. Will do the same probably this weekend. ETA: Did get free ST Max email as well.
  7. There was no indication of additional services in the mailer.
  8. I enjoyed the second one more. Was unsure how they were going to pull off a sequel after how the first ended, but was pleasantly surprised. I'd recommend giving it a go since you liked the first.
  9. I've managed to put together a 110-inch projector (1080p) mini-theater in my basement with 7.4.1 ATMOS surround sound, but I still enjoy the more immersive theater experience for some of the big releases. Football season is going to be fun down there though!
  10. My last solo outing was Quiet Place 2. Ticket was $7.89 for a pre-5:00 showing. It's an AMC theater, so I filled my popcorn bucket for $5.00 and got a large drink ($6.50 maybe?).Total out of pocket was around $20. ETA: Love seeing movies in the theater. Definitely hitting up The Green Knight this weekend and probably Suicide Squad next. The pandemic slowed down my theater-going experience, but there's just something about seeing a movie the way it was "intended" on a huge screen in a dark room with some freshly buttered popcorn, a cold cherry coke and a box of Goobers!
  11. In case anyone wants/needs some ammunition, I got a mailer from DISH the other day. Here's what they're offering for new customers. 12. We used this one year. It's essentially a randomizer but with a twist. Gives you something to root for. https://100yardrush.com/
  13. The last of my discounts hit this statement. I'm in the same boat as you and looking to call around the first of the month. Good luck and post back if anything good comes of the initial call!
  14. I don't know. This is so top-heavy it's hard to put together a roster I really like AND get as many of my SB prediction in play. With 20 minutes left, this is my entry. Best of luck to everyone in! QB - Josh Allen - BUF - $40 QB - Aaron Rodgers - GB - $36 RB - Aaron Jones - GB - $25 RB - Gus Edwards - BAL - $8 WR - Davante Adams - GB - $36 WR - Stefon Diggs - BUF - $32 WR - John Brown - BUF - $18 WR - Cole Beasley - BUF - $15 WR - James Washington - PIT - $5 WR - Miles Boykin - BAL - $3 TE - Robert Tonyan - GB - $19 PK - Jason Myers - SEA - $6 TD - Pittsburgh Steelers - PIT - $7
  15. Not sure how feasible this will be, but if you can try and hook up the system one day/night when the kids aren't around and download all the updates and get it mostly set up so it's "hook it up and go" instead of "hook it up and wait" on Christmas. Took maybe 20 minutes to get mine up and running when I got it. Also, if you got the disk version, pop the games in and let it install/download. Might be a pain if you want to wrap everything, but wanted to give you that to think about as we're less then 2 weeks out.
  16. In the spirit of @QuizGuy66 here is what I would have done differently knowing what I know now. QB - Philip Rivers at $8 was a waste except for 1 week. I thought he was the missing piece combined with a solid O-Line and strong running game that would create softer defenses. What I didn't think was that Rivers was mostly finished. I feel like my thought process was correct but the production didn't follow. More on the Colts to come... QB2 - Roethlisberger at $11 was good value but I was surprised to see he didn't count for me once. Still like the value, but Russell Wilson was just ridiculous early. RB - The only change I might have made here was moving off Benny Snell. I started with 4 solid starters (Mixon, Carson, CEH, Gibson) and three high-value backups (Scott, Snell, Moss) and just got ravaged by injuries. Not sure who would have replaced Snell. WR - I shouldn't have taken both Hilton and Parris Campbell. I wanted to pair up all my QBs with one of their receiving weapons and somehow ended up with 2 Colts. That was just an oversight on my part. I probably would have kept Campbell and swapped Hilton but would have to see the options at $17 to see who that might have been. WR2 - Bryan Edwards, oof. I would like to know what would have happened had he not gotten injured. Still like the value and probably wouldn't have dropped him but that was a big swing and a miss. The only "player" other than Big Ben that never counted for me. TE - No changes here. Loved the value on all 3. Howard's injury sucked but it is what it is. K - I try to get Denver's kicker every year and a guy in a dome on a suspect offense. Wouldn't have changed anything here either. DST - Indy (what was my deal with the Colts?) was a nice surprise. Atlanta was a disaster and never counted for me. Arizona was "meh" but whatever. Cheap defenses each and probably stick with them given a second chance. My Week 10 exit sucked as I would have survived to the final 250 but I just couldn't overcome $76 worth of injuries at my RB position. Made the final 250 last year and will look to do it again next year. Good luck to those remaining!
  17. Those are all good points. Again, I don't deny it is collusion and I voted as such and would have treated it as such in my league. I guess I don't know what the "punishment" should be. Revoke the trade? Does that affect the outcome of the game and, as such, the playoff positioning? What if those 2 teams elected to process the trade before the following week? Does that trade get approved then? The variables involved are terribly intriguing...
  18. For the record, I voted "collusion". My point was the owner receiving Thomas didn't obviously throw the game. I think if the trade value was fair then neither owner has any right to demand/request/suggest a condition of the trade is to not play a recently traded player. If Mattison scores 2 points, is there 20 pages of a thread regarding collusion? I seriously doubt it.
  19. I didn't read 20 pages, so this may have already been covered. Nonetheless, despite the admittance of being asked to bench Michael Thomas it's not like he started somebody who was GUARANTEED a zero. Mattison may not have been the best option, but if he gets some garbage-time work or busts a 20-yard run then this isn't even a conversation.
  20. Well, if I mathed correctly, my ghost entry would have finished at 163.60 this week. Currently above the cut but that may change by the time the game tonight ends. It will soften the blow of missing the week 10 cut by less than a TD...
  21. I'm honestly surprised no one has mentioned Maurice Jones-Drew. MJD even had a fantasy-focused show on Sirius Radio called Runnin' with MJD (regardless of the quality, it still existed). Dude is a first-balloter if there ever was one!
  22. Can't get to Calcomatic from work. My ghost entry would have finished with 158.35 in Week 10. Enough to have advanced?
