  1. I went with digital. I don't have a turntable so the records just sit around collecting dust.
  2. Hmm I was thinking of that dumb Hawaii song, that must have been 09. They come out so late I can't keep track.Yeah the Hawaii song was 09. I like Falling Down. Not sure about No Jeremy yet.
  3. :thumbup:Anyone going to see PJ20 tonight? The NYC premiere was sold out quick, so I will have to wait until this weekend (they are having a week long extended run here)Interested to hear people's reviewsnot showing in Memphis at all. I saw a post at 10C that one of the forum members supposedly contacted Malco theaters here in Memphis and got the response that the company had asked to show it, but the band/whomever declined. Sounds like BS to me.
  4. just finished watching the OK-FSU game. Drinking JB and Diet Dr. P (gotta watch my girlish figure)
  5. those ####ers wouldn't have been happy even if Andrew Wood had shown up to sing.
  6. Have no idea why on earth they would think that. The whole weekend was great. I am still thinking about itlike TU said, they ##### and complain no matter what.
  7. I think you guys must have went to another concert because, according to the people over on the 10C forums, the shows sucked.
  8. Not yet...it's almost done according to the fan club last weekWow. they seem to fall farther and farther behind every year.
  9. Did they ever send out the xmas single for this year?
  10. they're giving Sunday Ticket to new customers at no charge.
  11. I'll stop touching him if you let me start touching you

  12. Believe it!Elaborate then...Ive never heard them giving $ off per month over 12 months, and $20 is usually the standard at that.I'm actually getting $35/month off for the next year and the lady told me to call back after the 12 months is up and they'll see what they can do then.BeTheMatch's reasoning makes sense now that I see it, but how did you pull this off?I called and complained that the rate was too high and gave them the rate I could get Dish for. I also complained about paying for HD when they give it to new customers for free. She gave me $10 off to cover the HD, and the other $25 to get my bill down to what the Dish bill would be.What the new customer bill would be for a Dish customer or what you would pay as the standard bill after promotions? And how much was it?Seriously dude, you are way overthinking it. The number doesn't matter, just make a low ### one up and then get all pissed off about it.There is no fact checking process, treat it like a game. Understood, I just called them last week though and the girl said she would put in my "profile" that I can get $20 off for 6 months if I get the Ticket. Im going to take the Swingers approach, and give this a couple weeks before I call back and try to get a significantly better price cut.just looked at my bill. I have 4 receivers - (1 regular, 1 HD DVR, 2 reg DVR), Protection plan (covers hardware. This is $5.99/month) and the Total Choice Plus package. My total with taxes and everything is $76.50/month

  16. What!?!? I only got 3%!:furious:!!!111!1What the.... mine was 3% as well. same here. DAMN YOU NETFLIX!!!!!11!!1!!!!!2#32!!!!
  17. So did you threaten to cancel?I can just see myself doing this, only to have them call my bluff, and me saying "wait, I really want my DirecTV though".Isn't Directv paid for in advance? If they call your bluff, tell them to leave it on til the end of the billing cycle so you have time to get Dish installed
  18. Live on Two Legs is still great. It's not Allman Brothers at Fillmore East great (not even close), but it's pretty good for a band that has gotten mixed reviews live.1. Pearl Jam has gotten mixed reviews live? Link please?2. Live on Two Legs is decent, but it's not even an entire show. PJ has released hundreds of full length shows that blow LOTL out of the water Has to be fishing here Oh man, I gotten chime in and fall on my sword here.... I might have been up late after the 4th celebrations (fireworks/beer) and Pearl Jam came up on the rotation, it is possible I also saw a Pearl Jam thread pop up right on the main page at the same time and then decided that I (a casual Pearl Jam fan at best) was some sort of expert. I have only heard feedback about live Pearl Jam from friends and relatives so I really have no basis for my own opinion. So, basically, sorry for sidetracking this lengthy thread with my blabber (I do love the Allman Brothers though...). Honest question though, I know Pearl Jam released tons of live concerts in the past. Are there any dates in particular that stand out above the others? For casual fans like myself, I am probably never going to listen to the entire catalog of lives shows just because of the volume, but I would love to know if there are one or two that really stand out as a great live recording. big fan of Live at Benaroya Hall (10/22/03) and Mansfield, MA (07/11/03)
