  1. Americans have pretty consistently shown over the last few decades that truth doesn't much matter. Americans are, in aggregate, pretty stupid.
  2. Did he also tell the Long Island pharmacy he was high-risk? Seems like you're implying that, but it's not outright stated.
  3. Pretty sure this is the one @Max Power was reading. Actual PDF of study itself is linked early in the article. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/covid-vaccine-delta-variant-infections-carry-same-virus-load-unvaccinated/ As you note, it is not yet peer-reviewed. It is important to note that even if we take this study as gospel, it states that peak viral load is similar between infected vaxxed/unvaxxed, but it also states that vaxxed are significantly less likely to become infected in the first place. Therefore, per this study, it would still be accurate to say that vaxxed people are much less likely to spread COVID.
  4. At this point, if you still aren't getting yourself vaxxed, you're a vax-denier. You're putting yourself and others at risk because "sides". I'm going to have to let @Terminalxylemexplain why the study you linked above doesn't say what you think it does. He's on Hawaii time, though, so don't hold your breath just yet.
  5. Not always. It also ignores the fact that the larger percentage of unvaxxed there are, the more opportunities we create for bad mutations.
  6. My point with "over and over again" is that you and the rest of the vax-deniers continue to latch onto the same studies repeatedly, no matter how many times they are debunked or explained, expecting the rest of us to repeat ourselves each time. Go back, read the posts by the two I mentioned. If you truly read them, you'd stop posting the same stuff.
  7. See this thread and post: https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/783982-government-response-to-the-coronavirus/?do=findComment&comment=23613431
  8. See previous posts by the aforementioned two posters. This study does not say what you think it does, but I can't do the explanation justice. Further, even if it was accurate, it does not account for the fact that vaxxed folks are less likely to become infected and remain contagious for a shorter period of time. Again, the facts are clear and they've been covered over and over again here on these forums.
  9. There are dozens upon dozens of links in the various COVID threads. That you ignore them repeatedly doesn't make it my job to repost them. Search for posts by @Terminalxylem and @Doug B. The bolded is absolutely untrue, as the posts by the two mentioned above will confirm. The bolded italicized may be true as written, but it ignores the fact that the vaccinated are much less likely to become infected in the first place, thereby creating less opportunity for mutation.
  10. We've been over this dozens of times. Unvaccinated people are significantly more likely to become infected Unvaccinated people are significantly more likely to spread infections to others While much better protected than the unvaccinated, vaccinated people are not 100% immune, meaning more community spread caused by the unvaccinated does endanger the vaccinated In the long run, the more unvaccinated people there are, the more likely it is that the virus can mutate to something that our vaccines can't protect against These are facts and they aren't up for debate.
  11. Figure 3 shows us that vaccine mandates, by employers and for events/travel, are helping. Time to roll these out to more locations, employers, and schools/universities.
  12. We're just going to have to agree to disagree. Vax-deniers hurt everyone.
  13. Well, NY's governor is responsible for NY, not other states. If NY wants to provide better, more serious care by insisting on vaxxed workers, that seems like good policy. If NY identifies certain functions that can be performed by vaxxed National Guard members, that seems like good policy. NY's governor is NOT responsible for Kansas, Nebraska, Alabama, or other states that don't seem to care if health care workers are vaxxed. If those other states want to use the workers let go by NY, more power to them. There is no excuse for health care workers being unvaxxed at this point. The facts are clear. Those people should be fired and replaced ASAP. Additionally, following through on this type of policy can, in some cases, call the vax-deniers' bluff. Going back on the policy will lead to those workers never getting vaxxed, which harms all of us.
  14. I think the point here is to replace those workers, thus not reducing care. If other states want to use the unvaxxed workers, feel free to let them endanger their citizens.
  15. OK, so what's your suggestion? If the workers refuse to get vaxxed, how else do you want them replaced?
  16. I would assume the goal is to replace the unvaxxed workers who shouldn't be working in close proximity to patients. Good for her.
  17. I guess? There's certainly not a natural, built-in hearing like with SCOTUS appointments.
  18. Seems like this might be worth investigating... https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/sidney-powell-drags-justice-samuel-alito-and-supreme-court-into-january-6-mess/ar-AAORRdi
  19. So, you can't point to a single substantive post you've made? Of course, I already knew that. Just for kicks, here are your last nine posts in this forum. https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/768581-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-thread/page/219/?tab=comments#comment-23610709 - Complaint about "your side". https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/800581-an-nyu-professor-says-fewer-men-going-to-college-will-lead-to-a-mating-crisis-with-the-us-producing-too-many-lone-and-broke-men/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-23610708 - Complaint about "your side". https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/768581-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-thread/page/219/?tab=comments#comment-23610494 - Complaint about "your side". https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/800581-an-nyu-professor-says-fewer-men-going-to-college-will-lead-to-a-mating-crisis-with-the-us-producing-too-many-lone-and-broke-men/?tab=comments#comment-23610253 - Complaint about "your side". https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/768581-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-thread/page/219/?tab=comments#comment-23609911 - Complaint about another poster. https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/800581-an-nyu-professor-says-fewer-men-going-to-college-will-lead-to-a-mating-crisis-with-the-us-producing-too-many-lone-and-broke-men/?tab=comments#comment-23609870 - Complaint about another poster. https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/790013-official-president-joe-biden-thread/page/134/?tab=comments#comment-23609557 - I don't really know, I'm not following that thread. https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/798345-january-6-defendants/page/14/?tab=comments#comment-23609554 - Feeble attempt at a joke? https://forums.footballguys.com/topic/768581-alexandria-ocasio-cortez-thread/page/219/?tab=comments#comment-23609534 - Complaint about "your side". Impressive. 7 of the 9 posts are complaints about other posters who are trying desperately to get you to stay on topic. I'll put you back on ignore, it'll make everyone's life better.
  20. Carry on. Apparently, you're the only one allowed to determine the topic and what the appropriate responses can be. It's to the point where there's no point in engaging. You refuse to discuss issues and make literally every single post either "your side!!!1!" or "2016-2020!!!" or "you're ruining the thread!1!!" Every. Single. Post. Before you respond, go back and point me to just one of your posts that's substantive. Just one.
  21. More than now? Yes, more than now. This shouldn't be a particularly controversial statement. If women stop wanting to marry lesser educated men, the rate of single motherhood will increase.
  22. Good argument for switching to a VAT, but otherwise, not terribly germane.
