  1. I need to check with a work colleague who recently bought a bunch of sod from a sod farm in terms on what he paid. I think it was something like $.30 per square foot so you'd be looking at around 700 bucks for the sod. Not sure about delivery cost. He picked his up right from the farm. I could pick it up. The front yard is in great shape so really I just need to hammer out the yard. I may hire two ppl to do the grass shaving.
  2. I appreciate the advice. I think this is the direction I'm going to go. It's a smallish front yard 20x20 a decent size back yard 40x40. I want to do it right so that I only need to do it once.
  3. 75% is a lot of weeds. Probably best to just wait until the fall, rototiller the whole yard and reseed or sod if you can afford it from scratch. I don't really know the difference. If I rototullier do I just reseed immediately thereafter or do I reseed in the spring of the next year? I considered resodding but is like a 10k party. I would prefer to go a less expensive direction.Rototieller is less true?
  4. My wife and I bought our first house last month. The yard is beautiful but we have some issues with weeds and large bare spots. I would say that 75% of the yard although green is weeds rather than grass. I want to eliminate the weeds but have no idea where to start and don't want to hire a company. This is our first experience with a yard we own so I would like a permanent solution even if it takes time. Also we have a dog so I don't want to go nuclear on it.
  5. It's fortuitous that you posted this. I think it's bad everywhere right now. I drove by my new house in Cheverly (PG/MD) and the water was coming out of the down spots like a wide open hose. The sump pump was also pushing out some water but not nearly as bad. I have standing water all over the yard. I need to hire someone to extend my down spots further away from the house. fml
  6. I have a ton of movies and shows on DVD. Seinfeld, Friends, many popular movies from the 80s through today. Also, have xbox 360 games, bioshock 1 and 2, also have red dead redemption and arkam asylum. Also have a Wii that I'd love to move. Includes Mario Kart and some other games. I'm open to pretty much anything other than tools. Shot me a PM.
  7. can one use the pokerstars app to play?
  8. Bioshock 2 is more of the same as 1, just better looking. You'd probably have more fun playing A.A. at this point. Thanks. At this point you are right. I'm not really having fun playing Bioshock 1. I just need to finish it.Finally finished it tonight. Beating Fountaine was too easy. But the lead up was good. Building the big daddy suit and protecting little sisters was fun.

  10. I restarted Bioshock after finishing infinite. I love infinite and before infinite I had enjoyed Bioshock (even though I never finished it). Now I remember why I didn't finish it. If I have one complaint about the game it is absolutely the length. At time's it is such a grind. I'll fight my way through it but can anyone opine on part II. I have Bioshock II and Arkam Asylum. I want to know which one I should play next.
  11. I restarted Bioshock I and it is scary as ####. I had forgotten how scary it was.
  12. I played through Bioshock and sold it already. Was the scene from the commercials where they are gonna hang Elizabeth in the game?
