  1. Teach me your ways. I have no idea what you just said.
  2. For those rooters out there, where's the latest and greatest roms? I used to be really into it, and my original Droid X was never a problem. A few years ago, I got a Samsung Galaxy III when they came out. Flashing it didn't go as well. I ended up with CyanogenMod on it, and something is wrong with it. My phone works, but it will drop out much more often than it should. When I'm on it, I basically have to pace around my house trying to find a good spot. And I'm on Verizon. Sometimes it just restarts on it's own, and it says my system UID is not consistent. So, bottom line, I need to spend an afternoon reflashing this thing. But, it's been a few years since I have done it, and I don't even know where to look anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Will take a PM, if necessary.
  3. Doubtful. But her husband, wondering where she had run off to this time, might have.
  4. That's pretty much the theory that my wife and I decided on. All of the people (that we know about) that "poofed" were a problem to somebody that remained behind. Or the problem people were the leftovers who were left to be miserable. I don't see Nora's entire family or the mentally challenged kid as problems for somebody. In the moment before they disappeared Nora was frustrated by her whole family. Her husband was a cheating ahole and her kids were freaking out. This. That was actually covered in the show. And while they would never admit it, it's not outside the realm of possibility to suspect that a family taking care of their mentally challenged son might occasionally wish that they didn't have to.
  5. I think IIRC, the premise was that everyone was out at the Christmas thing in town. A bit of a stretch that the entire town would go, but living in small towns before, I could see how it could happen.
  6. Currently reading The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick.
  7. I've seen good reviews, but I thought episode one was super painfully unfunny and gave up on it. Same here. Don't foresee going back to it anytime soon.
  8. Unfortunately no, that law got struck down.Don't give him facts. He's rolling. Tell me more about your ### wiping policies.
  9. The answer here is very simple: secession How about Varmint, Jim, Peens and all the rest of you "patriots" go chat it up over at TinFoilHatGuys.com? Also, you might have to purchase that domain first. Problem solved!
  10. Seemed a little unclear to me............but the thing with the shirts. So, when he was "sleepwalking", for lack of a better term...........he picked up the shirts himself and nailed them to trees at his childhood camp? I didn't really get what the significance of all that was. Other than that, I like the way things are picking up.
  11. I'm a fan of Forbidden Island, which is a co-op game. Sometimes it's nice to play a game where you're working together to win, as opposed to competing against each other. Especially with the kids.
  12. An error occurredNo idea that was Slayer. I get so excited when something I like musically crosses over into mainstream media, it's SO infrequent. I literally shot forward in my chair about 1/2 second after she hit play on the CD player and yelled out : "SLAYER !!!!!!!!!!! ANGEL OF DEATH !!!!!!!!!!!" My wife looked at me with a bemused/puzzled look on her face that seemed to convey : "Oh dear God, I married a 14-year old." I sat back sheepishly when it dawned on me that she didn't give a rat's ### that Slayer was being played in a primetime HBO drama. During that scene, I immediately began thinking of how she came to acquire a Slayer CD. Ha! I thought the same thing.
  13. I can appreciate posters like Fennis, who has a different opinion than me, but who isn't ignorant about it. Maybe your trolling here, but judging by your other posts, I think it's just that you're plain dumb. Dont worry i am not offended, i think you are pretty dumb yourself. Hooray for us... Anytime you want to have that intelligence showdown, maybe "loser leaves the board forever", you let me know, Sweet ####. I do better at face to face showdowns Of course you do.

  16. Jesus. hat kind of proof do you want? You don't believe his multiple victims, apparently because he dances and sings in a pleasing manner. Whatever kind of proof you have will do. feel free to read this http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2005/07/orth200507includes parts such as: And that is accompanied by the report where the parents took him to the hospital and could show the alcohol in the blood stream. Oh wait. It's not? I'm sure it totally happened, though. Because people wouldn't make things up to get money. Once again, not saying it didn't happen. Just saying your "proof" differs from what I would refer to as proof. Like Chappelle said, I've never seen the alleged penis, but I'm pretty sure I could describe it, too.
  17. Ah yes, the old "if you don't believe it, then you obviously believe Jerry Sandusky was innocent too" routine. Well thought out retort there. Almost as good as believing "Well, 23 other families have said he did that, but I won't believe it without proof" being much more likely than "Hey, here's an easy way to get some money." You guys must have been standouts on the Debate Team.
  18. Yeah. There's absolutely no other instances of people making up allegations against rich people to try to get a payday. What a novel concept. Word is that he spent $35 million to cover up molestations of at least 24 boys..... http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/michael-jackson-spent-35-million-cover-molestations-report-article-1.1386325 And you don't think it's odd that parents continued to let their children hang out with him? Just sayin. Did the parents of the alleged molested kids allow the kid to continue to hang out with him after they found out? I don't know if the same ones continued. But I know that parents continued to let their children hang out with him after allegations began. My point is, doesn't it seem a little odd that parents would let their children hang out with him, after allegations against him had already been levied? It's not like he molested 24 boys AND THEN allegations came out. There was one here. And then one there. And then another one over here. It just doesn't pass the smell test. Do I know for absolute positive that he didn't? Of course not. It just seems much more like people wanting money than anything to me. I believe the poster earlier who said that he was asexual, and socially underdeveloped much more than I believe he was a chronic child molester. But, to each their own.
  19. Yeah. There's absolutely no other instances of people making up allegations against rich people to try to get a payday. What a novel concept. 20. Yeah. There's absolutely no other instances of people making up allegations against rich people to try to get a payday. What a novel concept.
  21. No. But you know, somebody has to be buying those supermarket tabloids.
  22. Greatest performer of our generation. Having said that, he had deep seeded issues, and went way off the tracks. Shame. "He made Thriller, man. He made Thriller."
  23. Started reading Stephen King's newest one Mr Mercedes last night. Liking it so far.
