  1. I'm holding him to see what happens when Thomas returns. I haven't watched close enough to tell whether he has drawn WR1 coverage in most games, but when Thomas returns he should have better match ups.
  2. Really, it's Robinson and then a decent size gap. Both Bigsby and Gibbs have been somewhat underwhelming in the running game this year, at least Gibbs will have a receiving roll if nothing else. Bowman hasn't shown much at all. Evans is the dark horse, if he can behave himself, he could be right behind Robinson. I ended up with him in a few Devy leagues and I have my doubts. As far as the 2022 draft, I have Wilson as the safest pick at WR1. Burks and Pickens both have the upside to finish over him if everything works out for them. Not sold on Bell, anytime I hear about someone winning a bunch of contested catches it's a red flag. Most of the mocks I've seen do not have him being drafted near the other top prospects. Combine should give us a good idea where he stands.
  3. I Give: Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen I Get: Russell Wilson, Geno Smith, Derek Carr, Josh Gordon, Juwan Johnson It's basically Wilson and Carr for Jackson and Allen as I would have to waive 3 much better players than the other 3 guys thrown in.
  4. Waldman had some really high praise for Edwards in his new Gut Check article. I already have him in all my leagues but if he even gets close to Waldman's predictions, all of us Edwards owners are going to be very happy!
  5. Isn't Hyde one of Meyer's guys from Ohio State? Maybe Meyer likes him more than you would think.
  6. Pittman will change his tune around week 4 or 5 when he is 8th in targets on his own team, and Wentz isn't even looking his direction.
  7. The 49ers also picked up an additional 3rd in the 2020/2021 drafts for the Washington hiring of Mayhew as GM. There is also bonus pick(s) in 2022 for losing multiple coaches/GM during the same season, not sure how that works as the wording was somewhat vague. Nice haul overall.
  8. I agree. A few years back I took over a terrible team and drafted both Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen in the rookie draft (I was starting Case Keenum). About midway through the season I wasn't competitive and bit the bullet, trading 2 #1 picks for Mahomes. Mahomes turned my deadbeat team around and I've been playoff caliber every since. Tried trading Jackson during his breakout season with no interest. Had Allen available for the last 2 years without any reasonable offers. Multiple teams could have gone from bottom feeders to the playoffs but they just don't value the QB position.
  9. Detroit/Tampa Bay. I've got both Swift and Jones in my lineup at the moment and am concerned about the coaching situation, play calling and Staffords health. Just seems like it could be a train wreck. I've also got the Tampa Bay D on my bench and thinking about throwing them in the lineup to take advantage of the Detroit situation.
  10. A few years ago during the last week of the season, after taking over a really bad team, I received a really interesting email from a team in the hunt, telling me about my responsibilities to field my best lineup, etc., etc. It wasn't a big deal to me but after setting my lineup I received a second email questioning the QB I was playing. I discussed it with him and basically said it didn't matter to me, if he wanted me to change out the QB I would. It was the sweetest loss I had all season, as "his" QB was the difference between me winning and losing. I emailed him and apologized for the loss, he never replied back...
  11. I was offered Jacobs and Aaron Jones for Swift and J. Taylor a few days ago and turned it down. Very close in my eyes, but I still believe Taylor can turn it around. If Jones was resigning with the Packers it may have pushed me to do it.
  12. I agree that he'll get the routes Jackson would run, but he's 20 pounds heavier than Jackson so I'd think he could get volume also.
  13. Fully understand that people are frustrated with Taylor, but in my PPR league Taylor is the #16 RB while Gibson is the #17. Sure Taylor has played one more game and is trending in the wrong direction at the moment, but one can't be doing just fine while the other is terrible.
  14. He caught a pass a couple of possessions after the fumble.
  15. Just got this one I get Murray, Latavius NOS RB For my Dobbins, J.K. BAL RB
