  1. It's good to know that if things ever do go south in my late 30's or beyond, there's a pill that will get me back to within 80-90% of my former self
  2. How about Jim Florentine's gf's suicide over the break! He was just on talking about how they were broke-up and she wanted to get back, etc. Sad.
  3. It's funny the first one or two times, but his screaming matches with Alice during the football pool picks are annoying 14 weeks later.Aside from that, Artie is consistently money as far as laughs. His stories are great and he always has a throw-away line or two that kills each show.
  4. I'm pretty sure Artie, or someone, wrote some zingers like that for Gary. For previous roasts, Artie's mentioned leading up to them that he's wrote some, or offered to write some material, for the roastee.
  5. I disagree, I think there's plenty to make of it. It was an obvious message to us (and HULK) that have been over-analyzing the time period of the show/crash. The writers were telling us it happened when we saw it happen, nothing to analyze or speculate about. So, the plenty to make of it is that nothing is there? Interesting...I've never felt the timeline mattered much, so it's never been an issue for me. But, why would I have not thought it mattered, then have the writers point it out for me? There must be something here...some hidden meaning associated with that date. What are the writer

  7. Finally caught up in the thread, took me all morning. Every time I clicked to the "last" page, a new last page was already there. Back with random thoughts after I eat lunch.
  8. Aside from Batman. O RLY?Da nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, leader, leader, BATMAN!
  9. Jack's dad is not the leader. Desmond is not the leader. Bank on it. I just don't see either one of them making sense. (BTW, the answer is: Batman.)
  10. The guy who took the blood from Michael said, "See you in the funny pages." Why does that sound familiar to me? Did someone else on the show say this before?
  11. Maybe not still smoking, but when I saw it I thought it looked "recently smoked" and figured that's what they were trying to show us with the shot of it.
  12. People who think it wasn't a question mark = people who think Dave wasn't in Hurley's head. Accept it and LET IT GO.
  13. Maybe it was a tilde. Or an umlaut. Or... a schwa!
  14. I thought about this as well. Maybe Sayid's thoughts about Michael lead to Locke or Ecko mentioning the escape/shooting could be on tape.
  15. But how about taking it one step further, that th observation hatch is the ONLY experiment. The other hatches, and the "work" they are doing is legit. Maybe by setting it up to appear like it's nothing lets them get away with doing it.
  16. JJ was on a killing spree last night. Between Lost and Alias they killed off 4 regular characters. Of course, as always with him, they all could be back by the season finale
  17. Worst episode so far. Weeks of re-runs then we finally get a new episode and all it does is open up more questions that will never be answered. I'm done with this show. Sorry, this wasn't looking like the Lost thread these last 4 pages, so I had to do it.
  18. She probably did it to attract, and capture, an Other since they would notice it because of their big affection for little kids.
  19. It just wasn't a meaty story, but it wasn't a bad show.It did confirm that the island does have healing power and even the scene with the healer also had Isaac state that there are places on the world where the energy/magnetic fields could heal people. He just said that he couldn't help her at his location. I did think it was really interesting that Rose and Bernard were newlyweds and not married for a long, long time. Not that it impacts the show a lot, but it was still interesting. I also liked the part with Locke and Rose because it seems like she is the only one on the island that knows ab
  20. besides for the coconut he nailed tons-o-love in the gut with... and the slipper that hurley was holding... and the other cocnut that he was gonnd toss at the blimp... Noid, if you were referring to my post, I definitely think Dave was an imaginary friend. I just think that the Dave sighting on the island is in the same vein as Kate's horse and Jack's dad in that it isn't that Hurley's mental issues are resurfacing as much as something on the island is projecting Dave there this time. No, I actually agree with you that this could be the case. I was just responding in general to the "Polaroid C
  21. besides for the coconut he nailed tons-o-love in the gut with... and the slipper that hurley was holding... and the other cocnut that he was gonnd toss at the blimp... Those were all to fool us. Libby said she didn't see a slipper and no one asked him about why he was carrying it around. As for getting hit with things "thrown" by Dave, there's tons of crazy people that have fights with imaginary people. If Hurley believes imaginary Dave threw something at him, he can imagine getting hit and then double over.
  22. Dave is imaginary. Period. Re-watch the episode and notice how he never touches anything, like the basketball, the keys, or opens the doors or windows. He has to convince Hurley to do all those things. It's like Bruce Willis in Sixth Sense. Wait a sec, maybe he's a ghost!!
  23. Henry is eighter lying because he knows Locke truely believes and wants to confuse or divide them. So Locke will think Jack is right or there is another bunker that enters the #s too. Until Henry tells us his real name and story, I'm not believing anything he tells the survivors.
