  1. 71. Rolling Stones - Slave If I'm going to stoop to pandering to Bink then its only fair to pander to Doc Op, lol. Great tune.
  2. 72. AC/DC - Hells Bells Released after the death of lead singer Bon Scott. The song begins with a funeral dirge sounding 2,000 pound brass bell chiming, an excellent choice before kicking into classic hard driving angry axing guitar.
  3. 73. Delbert McClinton - Giving It Up For Your Love For years and years I mistakenly thought this was J. Geils. I just assumed since they sound so similar. When the net opened up to music I couldn't find this tune for J. Geils and it really frustrated me. Not sure when I discovered it was Delbert McClinton but I love this tune and I think the wait increased my joy with this tune.
  4. Who is the right guy? I have absolutely no clue this year, none. I've been thinking CB or EDGE but WR and DT are also in play and outsiders are adamant about mocking LBers to us. AB opens it up to just about any position. ---------------------------------------------- NFL Update@MySportsUpdate #Browns GM Andrew Berry says he believes you have to approach every draft with a long-term mindset, not addressing needs: "Bill Polian used to say, 'Your needs today aren't the same as your needs tomorrow.' I definitely have found that to be true throughout my football career." --------------------------------------------- I don't think he's locked-in on any one name.
  5. Love Chase but I really like Boyd and Higgins and your QB is still not healthy after taking a tremendous beating. I fear for his health, not just physically but psychologically their is a limit. I'd take the OT and not worry about his blind side for a decade. Not sexy but take care of JB.
  6. KC has been to and won one of the last two SBs. It not a debate, they are the biggest threat in the AFC. Next year when other teams advance they will be playing KC in KC, not Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh. Baltimore should have dealt with anyone in the NFC but if they 'had' to go AFC then anyone other than KC.
  7. Well, I put it to you this way. The AFCN has a lot of 'good' RBs and one that scares everyone. We know who that is. Najee has the 'potential' to be scary.
  8. The issue of dealing with KC has been skipped over by many reports. It worse than dealing with Pittsburgh for Baltimore because KC is the biggest threat in the AFC. Any specific names mentioned? I'm fairly sure CIN has to with the OT and I do believe PIT goes RB if Harris is available. Browns have clamped down all leaks but have to think they go CB or EDGE but I haven't a clue how they rank them. I think a lot of O-Brown so I think it was a terrible return. I think it greatly helped KC and that is the crux of my criticism. No matter what happened last year Buffalo is not the biggest threat. You helped the biggest rival/obstacle in the playoffs.
  9. 74. Steely Dan - Babylon Sisters I think Steely Dan may be the only group that every single tune is listenable and some are sublime. So glad I was here when these guys were making music.
  10. I agree that RB with a top pick doesn't fit analytics but the Steelers have done unexpected things with 1st round picks as of late, dishing for Minka and trading-up for Bush. The investment in the D is substantial and it is difficult to keep a top defense intact. It is much more difficult to keep all of the pieces of a defense intact/healthy/contracts/etc. to win a SB than any other way. Think 85 Bears or early 2000 Ravens who had some of the all-time dominant defenses but were one-and-done SB winners. With such a tight window the 'best' bang in the 1st round would be RB 'if' Najee is available. He really does look amazing.
  11. I don't know why this hasn't been asked but what in the world was Baltimore thinking in dishing a very good OLT to the best team in the AFC when OLT was the Chiefs big weakness? I'm really surprised that a team like the Ravens would deal to everyone's biggest rival in the conference. I have to believe Ozzie would not have dealt with KC and gotten little in return. For AFCN teams in the draft. I have to think CIN takes the OT to protect JB. Don't be surprised if PIT goes RB in the first if Harris is available. CLE 'probably' leaning CB with EDGE a close second. I thought BAL would be going EDGE but what do you think the AFCN teams will go in the 1st?
  12. At first I thought no way but after speaking to a Steeler fan she convinced me and Najee looks amazing if he's available. He'd fill a huge hole. I think O-Line would be a much better long-term building block but the FO might be looking at the D and the weapons around Ben and think this is a window. You don't build up a defense like that and have a vet QB with those WRs and a big void at RB with a talent like Harris 'possibly' for the taking and not go for it, so I'm thinking it very well could be RB in the first.
  13. 75. Todd Rungren - Bang The Drum All Day An obvious pandering gesture to @Binkythedoormat as I was going to put Grover Washington Jr. here with - Just The Two Of Us I had to cut out a lot of 'good' tunes but loved playing Bang The Drum All Day. Fun spin. Oh forgot to add, that'll be a dollar Bink.
  14. PFF Mike Renner with over 57,000 followers. Pete Smith re-tweet with over 200k followers. Mike Renner Tweet The details are worse than what was and has been shared by many. Honestly hope the best for your mental health RockAction.
  15. 76. Dire Straits - Tunnel Of Love The song begins with 'The Carousel Waltz' written by Rodgers and Hammerstein before launching into an autobiographical composition of Knopfler's visit to Spanish City fairground in Whitely Bay. Mark wrote about that visit as it was allegedly where he decided to go into the music industry. As Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote the waltz it is only one of three Dire Straits songs that were not soley written by Knopfler.
  16. 77. Talking Heads - Cross Eyed and Painless David Byrne and Brian Eno must have been channeling the Bard when they wrote this song. The Heads arrived just like the Enola Gay, quiet and unnoticed till the payload exploded. Love Jeff Bridges take on how the Talking Heads blew his mind. He was asked about Pulp Fiction and the only analogy he could find was with music and the Talking Heads. 17. Sapp failed his drug test due to pot smoking. He failed THEE intelligent test. He got fired from ESPN for shenanigans so missed important memos from the universe. Micah was a bully, ok. Their are bullies and then their is this: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justine@LarimerJustine Things Micah Parsons can control. Wrestling teammates down and simulating a humping action while on top of them. Placing his penis in their faces while simulating ejaculation. Placing his penis on and in their buttocks. Stop excusing sexual assault. #NFLDraft #NFLDraft2021
  18. I agree that it kicked off a renaissance of big band swing bands. Those bands are still going strong. Here is a uber ridiculous fantastic version of Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen that will blow your doors off. Its one of my all-time favorite songs EVA. I had to leave off a tune from Van Halen that would fit in this genre. Big Bad  Bill I used to play this tune but couldn't play anything from Jumpin' Jive because it didn't fit our format.
  19. So he was told that an NFL team moved-up to the #3 spot in the draft and has still not made up their mind as to what they will do with that pick? If anyone actually believes that ...
  20. 78. Joe Jackson - Jumpin' Jive (entire album) Talk about musical range, dexterity, and knowledge. Anyone who has heard Jumpin' Jive knows you cannot break out individual tunes as pretty much every tune is awesome. Joe had to beg his record company to put this out because they knew it wouldn't sell but Joe put a fresh and vivacious spin on classic tunes that fits any era. If you have not heard this album do yourself a favor and listen to the whole thing.
  21. 79. U2 - I Fall Down / I Will Follow This was 'very early' in the career of U2 with a two-fer of tunes that many not be familiar with. They were not polished as evidenced by hysterical photos shown on the Graham Norton talk show. Go to the 11:20 mark of THIS VIDEO Hysterical look aside both early tunes are really good.
  22. 80. Marshall Crenshaw - Cynical Girl / Mary Anne The next three will be multiples. I used to play Crenshaw back in my DJ days and like both of these stripped down raw 50 sounding tunes.
