  2. I'm not trying to limit the possibilities I was looking for the most realistic trading partners but going along your line of opening things up more how about this one?KC is picking first and their doesn't appear to be a QB worthy of that pick and the top rated guy I've seen at this point, OT Luke Joeckel isn't the highest need on that team since they have Albert and he's done pretty good. How about a trade-down with the Jets where KC would give up the top pick and move down to 9th spot in the first round and then KC would give up their second round selection and possibly a player for Revis? They
  3. since when did tampa ever want to pay anybody? My linkVincent Jackson gets 5 years, $55M whats with all this "outside the conference" non-sense? Its doesnt matter the NYJ arent superbowl contenders, they will trade him to anyone not named NEPats. What the hell is the matter with you?I did the heavy lifting so fill in the gaps with the AFC teams. Not SD and I still don't think they trade him inside their division to Miami since they'd face him twice evey year and have to deal with the media so no. Not Pittsburgh and not Nati so basically you can do the homework on both Baltimore and Indy and see

  5. Likeliest scenario is he stays in New York but if a trade happens what is the most likely scenario? A stud true shut-down CB would fetch a high price if healthy so lets assume he is or will be healthy, now lets make one last assumption. Lets say Revis understands he will get one big long term contract so any team making a trade under the above conditions is on board with the fact that, Revis is healthy, Revis is open to signing a long term contract, Revis is a stud shut-down CB, and the Jets are open to trading him. Nothing can be done to make him younger than 28 so lets say he's still in his
  6. Hello Workhorse,

Your son is dealing with something that is metaphysical. META greek word simply means BEYOND. META-physical simply means BEYOND-physical and that is what your son is confronting.

You are concerned and want help. One bit of advice. DO NOT MEDICATE HIM unless you know exactly what he IS dealing with.

Message me if you want direction to a pla...

  7. Decent game, 8 catches for 86 yards. He is 268 yards shy of a 1,000 yard recieving season with three games left to play. A 1,000 yard season is within reach. Not bad for a rookie.
  8. In terms of yards that Gordon needs to reach an even 1,000 for the year >> 354If Gordon reaches 1,000 it will be significant. Why?Well the Browns have two other rookies who are nearing milestone rookie seasons.Rookie QB Brandon Weeden only needs 180 yards to reach 3,000 for the year and he should reach that today. I think he is within reach of a 3,500 yard rookie passing season. Then rookie RB Trent Richardson is within 133 yards of reaching a 1,000 rushing season. Its possible he could reach that today but unlikely. He definitely should have a 1,000 yard rookie rushing season to go
  9. KC pass defense against WRs ranks 16th, smack dab in the middle of the pack in terms of yardage and scores given up by their defense to wide receivers. Middle of the pack is eh but take a look at what the Chiefs have given up to opposing wide receivers over the past three weeks. Three weeks ago against Cincinnati the Chiefs surrendered 10 catches for 143 yards along with 2 touchdowns to Bengal WRs. Two weeks ago they gave up 12 catches for 298 yards along with 1 touchdown against Denver WRs. Last week they gave up 10 catches for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Panther WRs. Now those n
  10. I like my intuition when it comes to reading people. You can't always articulate the vibe people give off, but you to trust it.FF? Not so much.I expect whoever Ike Taylor is covering will have a 2-15 kind of day. But a possession receiver running underneath routes might do OK in this one.I honestly don't know much about the Browns other TRich has met/exceeded expectations and Greg Little has not. Gordon seems like a boom/bust player who gets loose once in awhile. Torrey Smith lite. Low scoring affair that is decided in the trenchs seems most likely. The weather reports incidcate high winds and
  11. Mike Holmgren isn't the only one who says that Cleveland has found its franchise QB. ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer thinks the Browns have found their guy and he makes a convincing case for Brandon Weeden. My link Dilfer isn't the only one taking notice of Weeden, Browns OC Brad Childress chimes in.Browns Offensive Coordinator Brad Childress 10-25-12 (On Brandon Weeden's progression)– "It has just been slow and steady, that's kind of how I see it. I don't know if it's, catastrophic is not the word, but any gigantic leap. I just think it has been slow and steady. All you ever want to know is what s
  12. The team has grown by leaps and bounds from the first game when the Browns were starting three rookies on offense, QB Brandon Weeden, ORT Mitchell Schwartz, and RB Trent Richardson who hadn't played in a month and was still recovering from knee surgery. They also were starting three second-year guys, OG Jason Pinkston, WR Greg Little, and FB Owen Marecic, six guys, over half of the starting offense and the team was giving rookie WR Travis Benjamin and second year TE Jordan Cameron playing time but rookie WR Josh Gordon barely saw the field the first couple of games. As pointed out, Weeden h
  13. Oooooooooooooooooooooh near miss on another deep bomb. The sun roof opened literally JUST the second the ball came into his hands and he dropped it. Soooo close.
  14. No one is talking what the other side thinks about going up against Josh Gordon and unfortunately I face Josh Gordon this week so I have mixed feelings. Here are some tweets from around the league about Browns supplemental rookie pick WR Josh Gordon. @AdamSchefter: Even with changes coming in Cleveland, looks like Browns nailed the supplemental draft, hitting on WR Josh Gordon. Big-time playmaker. @nfldraftscout: Watched a lot of Josh Gordon yesterday. It's time for him to get max reps. Best playmaker outside of Trent Richardson. Steal for #Browns @4for4_Josh: Josh Gordon #1 in NFL with 22.8 y

Gordon has proto-typical size/speed to become a ligitmate #1 WR.Moore is not even close to Gordon in terms of size or athletic ability and the abilities of Gordon are well documented in this thread so go back and read what many independent sources from around the league said about Gordon's raw abilities before the supplemental draft. Josh Gordon is just now scratching the surface of his natural abilities. He's producing with this opportunity while he's learning and the bonus is that the situation with the

  17. Nothing but he had 2 receptions for over 40 yards and 2 first downs in the first quarter against the Bengals.I think that had an effect to help set-up the deep bomb to Gordon. Trent Richardson must have gotten dinged early in the game because Shurmur started to work in the tight ends and he hadn't done that in previous games. He opted to keep Richardson in and have him go to the flat or on screens and he'd bring in Ogbanaya as the third down back which basically kept the TEs off the field. However, when Richardson was out he brought back the TEs which meant, TO ME, that the third wide-out (
  18. Outside of TEN WR Kendall Wrighht the 2012 rookie WR class hasn't done too much but Browns rookie WR Josh Gordon has started to make an impact over the last two weeks when he was forced into the starting line-up due to injuries to the Browns receiving corps. Here's a nice update on his progress. My link
  19. I don't see anyone with high expectations so you're wrong.
  20. Coop has never played in an NFL game. He's never had an NFL reception so HUGE caution flag but he was Weeden's top receiver in their college careers but Josh Cribbs looms in this picture. He might be worth a flyer and a 'wait-and-see' acquisition for this week. But could he turn into a PPR slleper? Yeah, he could. His top side, he could turn earn a starting role considering the injury-prone nature of Massaquoi and the chemistry he had with Weeden in college and the hands of stone of Greg Little.Justin Blackmon was Weeden's top receiver in college. But Cooper was the #2 so there is definitel

  22. Teams will zero in on Gordon more without a good option in the slot.Don't sleep on cooper. He's not fast and he's definitely not known but he DID play with weeden so there might be enough familiarity there to make teams take noticeTrue dat.The Browns have been decimated with injuries at wide receiver, WR Mohammed Massaquoi OUT, WR Travis Benjamin OUT, WR Jordan Norwood just placed on IR. Norwood took over for Mo-Mass when Mohammed suffered a hamstring in the Baltimore game and he hauled in 4 passes for 56 yards in that game and last week, before he got injured, he hauled in 9 passes for 81 yar
  23. Both WR Mohammed Massaquoi AND WR Jordan Norwood are OUT for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Also WR Travis Benjamin is listed as DOUBTFUL so Gordon is set-up for another high target game. My link
