  1. The big difference is, of course, ice. Being an incredible skater is pretty much required to even have a chance at playing upper level hockey. so there are different skill sets.
  2. I don’t believe so. Canada has great lacrosse culture, but it is pretty niche except in a handful of places. Figured Peterborough would be one of them.
  3. Despite being a vocal critic of Jethro Tull, I kinda enjoyed both of the songs that came up for me within a 15 minute span earlier.
  4. R04.xx The Unforgettable Fire – U2 R04.xx The Clash (self-titled debut, UK) – The Clash R04.xx Soul Mining – The The R04.xx Live in London (w/Joe Strummer) – The Pogues R05.35 Nothing's Shocking - Jane's Addiction R06.04 Jar of Flies - Alice in Chains According to the only judge that matters (to me), I am running away with this thing.
  5. I don't know whether to blame the Jethro Tull fans or Spotify's shuffle algorithm, but I am being inundated with ROCK FLUTE. FFS.
  6. 6.04 Jar of Flies – Alice in Chains I am from Seattle and I was in my early 20s during the Seattle-scene explosion. I think I only saw Alice in Chains live once, or maybe twice, but they were my favorite of the “grunge” bands. This album is actually an EP and the band wrote, performed, and recorded the whole thing in a single week. The result was a piece of work that, to me, is just extraordinary. It is a quieter, more acoustic sound than their previous studio albums, but it still rocks. Of the seven total tracks on the album, I think five of them are absolutely top-tier. The other two are merely pretty good. RIP Layne. Songs: Nutshell Don’t Follow
