    This shtick is FANTASTICALLY bad

You better be able to put up 35+, I don’t see it

    It’s free entertainment

If you want entertainment, read their thread. You can find them talking about the Cowboys on nearly every single page. It’s amazing.

It’s really strange. They compare almost everything their team does on the impact it will have against the Cowboys. They almost never talk about the Redskins or Giants and sometimes not even the Eagles. It’s Cowboys Cowboys Cowboys allllllll the time.

They were all craving for Lamb. Now that he’s with us, Lamb sucks and played against bums.

They love the Cowboys so much they even drafted a player named Dallas cause they thought we wanted him!

So as far as our and their favorite team goes, I want defense and OL the rest of the way. No skills guys unless it’s a bargain.

This guy is so awful. Every time he posted in your thread I wanted to punch him in the face.

He is the "typical Cowboys fan" that you and I despise.

I got a week TO for this?????????????? Some random dude comes into your thread, trolls you guys and is a pest so I describe a fictional thing I want to do to him for his actions in a post to fellow frequent poster and I get burned.

    Beyond ridiculous.

If you think it's consensual and the woman doesn't, that's non-consensual.  You can't have two different views here.  If that were the case, every rapist on trial could just be like, "Well, I thought it WAS consensual.  So I guess that's on her."

And furthermore, he didn't just say he thought it was consensual, he said he could see how she thought it wasn't.  Read that again.  That's mind blowing.  Again, GB, I ask you:  Can you think of one time where you had sex with someone and thought that they might have seen it as non-consensual?

I think his apology was a polite way of saying “this ##### is cray cray”.

To answer your question, no, but I never had oodles of hot women throwing themselves at me at every turn.

Kobe would have had a dream team of lawyers attacking her mercilessly.  The trial would have been pure hell for her and might not have led to a conviction no matter how guilty he was.  I'm sure her lawyer strongly advised her to take the settlement.  Even the prosecutor might have advised her to take the settlement.  I'm continually perplexed by men who automatically presume that the woman is lying.

Im just as perplexed by men who automatically presume that the woman is telling the truth.

We can debate her semen stained underwear and the payout all day long but in the end we don’t know what happened in that room and the only two people who do are Kobe and the woman.

She never got a settlement and there was no money. It’s literally in his apology:

"I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives
of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has
agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil
    case.

    She got 2.5 million

You should know this since you were there and know what happened.

Alao, what does Kobe being accused of rape have to so with you or anybody you know?

This comment is old but feel it needs a response. No one was celebrating the death of these innocent people, no one was even celebrating Kobe’s death. I just didn’t feel like he should have been celebrated as if the rape never occurred.

I’m glad he did things to better others later in life and maybe I need lessons in forgiveness, but having known those who have lived through a sexual assault, that’s not something I can do right now.  Seeing them scared to leave the house after dark, afraid to go to the grocery store alone, afraid to go from their office to their car, that makes things very real very fast.  Knowing that he got off free from that charge because he was good at basketball and then seeing people idolize him for basketball, it’s very frustrating.

He didn’t get off Scott free.
He was only accused of rape and many who followed the case closely believe the only reason he was questioned in the first place because he was famous for playing basketball.
If you’ve paid any attention at all you would see that he was idolized for far more than playing basketball

Im sorry for whatever happened to your loved ones but unless Kobe Bryant was their attacker he has literally nothing to do with them in any way whatsoever.

You didnt like the other batman's after asylum?  Asylum was great but was very linear.  All the others after were so much more open and so much more to do.  Just kinda weird to me that you liked the first one and not the ones that built on that but did a hell of alot more

It was all more of the same and the difficulty ramps up to the point it goes from fun action game to tedious annoying stealth and QuickTime events.

Kinda like the Assassins Creed games. I played the first one til completion and never could force myself to finish any of the rest of the series. I tried playing every third or so AC but 10 minutes in I was like, ok, this again.

I prefer digital and there’s all kinds of deals on digital games.  If I were you, just get that and then the Xbox games pass...

    https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/games

You don’t own them, it’s kind of like Spotify for games. From that list though, I’d highly recommend:

    Batman Arkham City

I'd recommend the Arkham Asylum (remastered) version first. For several reasons. One, I think its a better game. Two, it will ease the player into the controls. Personally, I didn't like any of the other games and felt like they were just more of the same.

Need some advice. Been away from gaming for about 10 years. Played a lot of Madden, Diablo 2 back in the day. Bought kids a switch last Xmas and really enjoyed Zelda:Breath of the Wild. Gaming has come so far in that chunk of time. Looking at getting a Xbox one now. More for me until kids get older. Very reasonably priced at $170 for all digital edition on amazon. Xbox One S 1TB All-Digital Edition Console (Disc-Free Gaming) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XQXZXJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tBNuEb7XE4VV3

    1) Any recommendations on digital vs disc gaming?  Cost of digital vs hard disc any diffferent?

    2) What are the must have games for Xbox one?  Taking any and all suggestions as I just haven’t kept up on it.

    Thanks for the advice!

If youre gonna do it this late in the party (which is awesome), I'd recommend the Xboxone X and a 4k TV.

You and the kids are going to have access to what is quite possibly the best catalog of video games thats ever graced a console period. The amount of games, more importantly the quality of the  games is staggering.

What kind of games are you interested in?

I ted to play RPGs so right off the bat I would say:

Dark Souls Remastered (and the rest of the series as my all time favorite)

    Bioshock remastered

    Red Dead Redemption 2

    Fallout 4

    Elder Scrolls Skyrim

Others can chime in with theirs

Yep, Fury did it and earned this W. However, I think a rematch would be competitive and could go different.

I'm not sure why. Seems to me Fury has dominated Wilder nearly every round. If this goes to a rematch you will just see the same thing, the boxer out boxing the puncher.  Just so happens that the boxer is the much larger person.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but Teamsnap can definitely help with the schedule part. It is free and you just plug in all of the sports stuff. I use it for my U14 soccer team, my son uses it for his hockey team and I plan to use it for my varsity team this year

    https://www.teamsnap.com/

Yeah, TeamSnap is great. We’ve been using it for years.

  12. With two kids in HS, the sports, dinners, attempting to make time for us, spending time with friends and everything else life throws at you were running a fly by night operation and we wanna tighten things up to be more productive.

Do any of you use an app or have a process that keeps all your life goals, to do lists, schedules and the like that works best for you?

    TIA

At first read, this just doesn't even seem realistic....6 months?!!?    That's not happening with me, but I can see where you would work this in when feasible.  With that, what kind of worthwhile commands are you giving to them while they are eating?

All commands are worthwhile to your little buddy. When they’re super young they don’t need 2-4 cups of food a day so it isn’t as daunting a task as you might think. As they grow so does the list of commands and the rewards for being a good listener. When they’re a month or two older you can give them their bowl in the morning and evening and just adjust how much food depending on how much time you spent with them that day.

You’re not running a German concentration camp but you want your dog to listen. Your dog can still have all of their personality and be obedient for the times you need them to be. How much is really all up to you.

Most people don’t really have an idea of how much time they should be working with their pets. (Not directed at you)

  14. I made a custom cage a essentially a 2x6 box using 2x4, plywood and those metal wire closet shelving as the sides (turned them upside down and secured them in place.) Worked perfect.

Larger cage means more forgiving cleaning. I lay a sheet of poly on the base and then cover with the wood shavings. Every two weeks I pick up the poly at the corners and toss in the trash, rinse and repeat.

When we got them we thought they lived 4-5 years. One died about 2 years in. The second one is still kicking. We looked again and read they live 5-8 years!!!

I never wanted them and guess who cleans them? Me.

It won’t be easy to get rid of them if you change your mind. We tried giving them away a few years in but couldn’t find anybody. Recently somebody agreed to take them but after all these years and despite me not wanting to deal the remaining one we didn’t have it in our hearts to move him from the only place he’s ever lived.

They’re cuter than rats and better pets than bunnies but that isn’t saying much.

China changing the definition of "Confirmed" as a rare blatant/public attempt to cook the books.

Now if you test positive but aren't symptomatic, you're no longer "confirmed"  This obviously further obfuscates any chance at identifying the true scope of this outbreak.
