  1. Chip wanted Matthews in the 1st last year but management wasnt on board. I wouldnt say draft position dictates how Chip feels about either. I just think JMatt is a better player, but time will tell Time will tell. Hopefully both can stay healthy. Kevin White gonna surpass Alshon Jeffery as well? Marqise Lee gonna surpass Allen Robinson?
  2. Because his bad hands will cause him to bust? LOL.
  3. He has as much upside as White and Parker and has a better chance to have the best season among Rookie WRs.
  4. I'll take Agholor over Perriman. Agholor isn't stealing targets from Matthews and Ertz. Perriman has no legit competition. Give me the guy who can run routes and catch the ball consistently. Because since Perriman can't do those two things as well, he'll be riding the bench. He won't be getting the opportunity to produce. What makes you think he'll do better than Torrey Smith in Baltimore? See my answer in the Perriman thread.

  7. Tracks the deep ball way better than Smith. Highpoints better. Plays bigger. Better movement skills to translate to routes.

  9. If you still put stock into him, Mayock has Perriman "tied" for 3rd with Parker. He previously had him 'tied" for 5th with DGB.
  10. He's a better prospect than Jordan Matthews was, who went in the top 4-6.
  11. I'm the opposite, actually--at least when it comes to Perriman/Coates. Coates looks awkward to me, while Perriman looks like better football player. I don't watch or know enough to comment on his routes, beyond what I've read, but from the clips--Perriman looks very fluid and natural. Perriman plays like Dez and Coates plays like TO, to my eyes. Obviously, I am not projecting that either match the production--and TO could do a lot more than Coates has shown. But Bryant is fluid and natural and TO, while obviously very effective, had some awkwardness to his game. He always looked like a gu
  12. Nice subtle head fake to get the CB to open up outside: http://gfycat.com/LeftAnxiousBandicoot Could sink the hips better, but looks very smooth: http://gfycat.com/IdenticalThornyAss
  13. That's pretty much how I see the 2 as well. I currently have them ranked at #14 and #16 respectively. Coates has a higher ceiling to me. But this is the Perriman thread. When I say stiff I mean it in regards to the way a player cuts. If the routes are rounded, that's either 1. They haven't learned the best technique to run that route. 2. They physically can't get to the top, sink, and move (ie. stiff) What you're describing isn't called "stiff". It's just lack of suddenness. White has a lower center of gravity, yet he doesn't cut that well in his routes either. So what is he? Sti
  14. Where's the serious over reaction? For example Milkman suggesting Perriman should be a 6th overall pick in rookie drafts or Xue stating that he is a better route runner than Parker, White and Strong. I've been high on Perriman since October.https://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?/topic/702717-dynasty-2015-draft-prospects/?p=17387992 I had him ranked #6 and 4 spots above Strong BEFORE today. (Not posted on this forum) I actually moved Strong down after the Combine. Was really high on Strong, but watched more tape, and just not impressed with his movements. Strong is a lesser prospe
  15. Sounds like Kevin White. Perriman is actually quite fluid in the hips: http://gfycat.com/TerribleFilthyAtlanticspadefish He rounded that route like the start of a circle.... Not exactly a good endorsement. Again lazy, or he just can't do it properly. As for comparing him to White, I see more natural athleticism on the field and the quickness for him is hands down much better than Perriman's. White is what you hope Perriman can become. You said he has "stiff hips". He clearly does not. But nice strawman. Does Alshon Jeffery run "lazy" routes? Or does he simply move in a certain way? I

  18. White is a worse route runner because he can't transition his speed into his cuts. Perriman is much smoother in doing that. They both need work and are far from being "great route runners". I just don't like White's change of direction in his routes, because he's so much more athletic with the ball with his hands. How can you not wonder why it doesn't show up in his routes? Watch this in slow motion and look at his left foot: http://gfycat.com/UnselfishJointAurochs#?speed=0.5 He doesn't show this kind of feet in his routes.

  20. Agreed, but he doesn't have Perriman's wheels so he doesn't pull away as well. Also, the fact that he isn't as fast gives CBs more confidence to stand in and challenge him whereas CBs were regularly bailing on Perriman because of his speed.I like this part of Perriman's game but it's irritating watching CBs open up their hips at the snap when covering him. He does a great job capitalizing on it but I don't think its a simple translation to the NFL. Regardless, I don't like his shoulders rising before breaks, giving away cuts and the lack of sharpness (rounding) of his routes. Kind of odd he wo
  21. Multiple spots or just 1?I have Strong 1 spot above Perriman 4 spots. Mind sharing a bit on why? I absolutely love what I see in Perriman's highlights--his upside seems as high as anyone's. That said, I've read that he has major concentration issues, leading to a lot of drops, and that his route tree is limited and sloppy. Average route runner. Below average change of direction and hip flexibility (7.44 3-cone). Doesn't play up to his measurables. Played the slot a good amount to pad some of his numbers. Sounds like you're talking about Strong here? If you're saying that about Perrima
