  1. SO lock in thenI probably shouldn't have added that I guess because the answer seems obvious with that caveat... I'd still like to know if the rates are going up or down though.so would everybodyThanks, you have been very helpful.

  3. I'm scheduled to close on my new house in 40 days from today... should I lock in my rate today... or wait a while? FWIW, I like the rate I can get now and I'd be more upset if I DIDN'T lock and the rates went up, than I would be if I DID lock and the rates went down... can they go down alot more from here?
  4. yes because I felt as if I could fairly safely eliminate A23 since he didn't jam the flop and that is the big hand that scares me. If he happens to have A2 with 2 pair then he gets my stack. Is your opponent's play pretty standard in this hand? Sure he has the nut low on the turn, but only 4 outs to scoop yet he jams the pot. Seems marginal to me.
  5. Great job Assani! Any chance to get the HHs for these?
  6. How deep was the SB in this hand? Maybe this shows my poker-suckitude, but did you consider checking behind on the river? No, never considered it. I think he started the hand with maybe 10K or so. I was shortstacked and needed chips. You gotta play to win these things- can't be scared of busting out imo. And this was a chance for me to get my stack back up to average. I needed to take it. I hate hate hate hate hate his line btw because, as I said, with any non 4 hand I'm checking behind on the river(unless I've been outright bluffing the entire hand) and hes losing all value. For him, out of p

  8. Great job... would you mind sharing the HH for this tourney as well?
  9. First, you are sick... what a great run of tourney finishes. 2nd, in what place did you finish?
  10. Would you be willing to share the entire HH for one of these tournies where you go deep? Not necessarily with any comments or anything... just get the histories from the site and forward them to people who are interested in taking a look.
  11. Congrats on the big score! Edit: Which tourney was it?
  12. You've been on quite a run in these tournies lately - Congrats!
  13. If this is why you hate the movie you need to watch it again. Potter stole the money and the people loaned George enough money to help him through this rough time. They were happy to help him since he helped them so much by running the Building & Loan, so people would have some place they can go "without crawling to Potter".Plus, the entire underlying theme of the movie is about reflecting on one's life and how your choices / actions affects the lives of other people. I think this theme is why it's a great Christmas movie and the reson people are incredulous toward those who don't like
  14. Have played step 1s today and got 28 tickets to step 2(top two spots win tickets). . Will play the step 2s tomorrow. How many step ones did you play?
  15. I play PLO8 occassionally (at much lower stakes) and I agree that it's really tough to call in that spot since you have no low and you aren't drawing to a bigger hand for hi. What kind of hand did you put him on? Did you have some kind of read on him? BTW, Happy Birthday.
  16. No, but here's something interesting: when Bobby and Tony were in the boat, Bobby said he bets you never hear anything when you get whacked. think about it.What insight! Hadn't heard that before.
  17. When Phil got out of the van I was sure he was going to get it while on the phone, so the suddenness of the gun coming in from the left of the screen was great. The dinner sceen was riveting and suspensful, and I have no problem with the "everything remains the same" type of ending, but I didn't like the immediate cut to black. If Chase wanted us to know Tony got whacked we could have heard a gunshot then cut to black, or we could have seen the guy come out of the bathroom, pull a gun, then cut to black (the Bobby angle with never hearing it would still stand). If Chase wanted us to kno
  18. I would save the stranger because the stranger has never shaaat / uinated on my carpet
  19. It seems to me that trying to get your losses back before going to bed was way too results oriented. You could have played perfect poker (like getting all in preflop with AA vs JJ as an example) and lost more money on the day. Playing good poker as often as possible should be your goal; winning money on any single day (or session, or week, or whatever) shouldn't matter.
  20. Congrats Assani !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. I was thinking something along these lines. Not sure if the kid is naive enough to fall for that or not... He might #### his pants out of fear if you confront him like this. If so, just follow him and see what he does with the newly soiled underoos.
