  1. Optavia 5&1 plan....5 "fuelings" (bars, shakes, snacks, desserts, savory items) a day and 1 lean & green meal (lean proteins, green, lower carb veggies), healthy fats. Easiest plan I've ever followed to lose weight. I never imagined I would lose 150+ lbs. You have a coach, super supportive online community, materials that help educate you and help you work on your mindset (which was the real difference maker for me). Was a game-changer for me. My 16 year old daughter actually just hit 50 lbs gone this past Wednesday and my wife is a few lbs away from 50 gone over the last 5 months. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gaoQefSurrbi8JHB6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/YKXm5e2FErQJB5Ki9
  2. It appears my son's gmail account has been hacked and the password was changed 10 hours ago. What can we do to reset it? I just keep going in circles. One link indicates there are questions he can be asked to show it's him, but nothing leads to those questions. Google keeps referring to a Google Authenticator app, but that appears to be something that you already had to have set up. He's got important google docs he needs access to for school. I'm worried he is out of luck.
  3. I lost 156 lbs from May 2020 to March 2021 at the age of 50. 315 to 159. Have kept it off for 6 months. It's been a life-changing journey.
  4. Ran my 2nd 5K this morning. Bettered my time by 38 seconds and came in 1st in my age group. Need to figure out how to train to add some speed.
  5. It's a program called Optavia. You eat 6 times a day every 2.5 to 3 hours, drink minimum of 64 ounces of water, and Total game-changer for me. I've lost and gained weight my whole life while steadily creeping upward to 315 lbs. Offers an easy to follow plan (it does involve products...plan is called 5&1...you eat 5 "fuelings" a day and one lean & green meal you prepare), a coach that walks along side you throughout, mindset materials, and an incredible online community. I had hit a point where I was considering sleeve surgery because I was listening to the TV describe how I was high risk for Covid...extremely obese, over 50, high blood pressure. I had a friend from high school drop 65 on this and two friends from college (a married couple) each lose over 100. I mentioned it to my doctor and he was familiar with it...encouraged me to give it a shot. Thank God I did! I committed to one month...dropped 27 lbs in my first month...came off blood pressure meds at the end of month two and never looked back. From May 2020 to March 2021 I lost the 156 lbs. At the end of it you transition over 6 weeks to reintroduce foods you've cut out and train yourself to eat those foods in a healthy manner within your new approach. Now that I'm 6 months post hitting goal, my habits have proven themselves changed and dependable for long term success. I'm happy to answer any questions. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gaoQefSurrbi8JHB6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/JisFFSoQXKnYYKaR7
  6. From May 2020 to March 2021, at the age of 50, I lost 156 lbs in 10 1/2 months, nutrition only...no exercise. 315 to 159. Hit goal, 165, in March. Next week will mark 6 months post goal and I'm holding steady at 165. I needed a new goal this summer so I signed up a 5k even though I didn't run at all. Downloaded a training app and hit the streets (almost literally hit the streets when I first started). Ran my first 5k 3 weeks ago and got 3rd in my age group...29:58. Running 5k #2 next Saturday, 9/24, and #3 on 10/9. My health journey has changed my life. Off blood pressure meds two months in...July 2020. Ripple effect has been huge...16 year old daughter is within 2 lbs of being down 50 and my wife is over 40 lbs down in about 4 1/2 months.
  7. My reads so far this summer: Where the Crawdads Sing...excellent Before We Were Yours...very good...disturbing that this was going on. Historical fiction based on a child kidnapping and trafficking ring based in Memphis during the depression. A lady led an organization that would steal kids from poor families and then sell them to wealthy families around the country. Sold on a Monday...very good...similar to Before We Were Yours but was about families selling their kids during the depression for the sake of survival. The Killer Angels...excellent, as all Michael and Jeff Shaara books are. Battle of Gettysburg. The Tattooist of Auschwitz...moving tale of a concentration camp prisoner that has the job of tattooing numbers on incoming prisoners. A tale of survival and live in a horrible situation. Currently about 1/3 of the way in to Devolution: A firsthand account of the Rainier Sasquatch Massacre.
  8. I’m moving in to a new house that is going to require a riding lawn mower. I’m looking to spend around $2000 for a lawn tractor and wanted to see if you guys have any recommendations based on your own experience. I don’t need something like a zero turn mower so please don’t recommend those...don’t need to spend that much money anyway. Brand and model numbers are appreciated. thanks in advance for any input.
  9. 75 inch Samsung Q90R on sale at Best Buy for $2899, which is still a lot but we’ll below the $3999 MSRP. Closing them out with release of 2020 models.
  10. 75 inch Samsung Q90R on sale at Best But for $2899...$1100 off. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-75-class-led-q90-series-2160p-smart-4k-uhd-tv-with-hdr/6331771.p?skuId=6331771 still so much for a TV...but so tempted to try to make this happen at that price. ugh! The struggle.
  11. I have to decide between Lockett or M. Bryant now that I've lost OBJ.
  12. Started him because I was afraid to risk game times for Forsett and Lewis. Should have stuck with Forsett when they said he was "likely." My lack of risk taking is probably going to cost me. :-(
  13. I'm rolling him out because I've got Forsett and Lewis who ar both questionable...got nice points from Ingram and hoping Bell does his normal thing...West will be my flex.
