  1. I hate the clickbait title... they didn't receive a signal from a planet, they saw a measurement that could indicate that there is a planet. To them, that's a "signal" there could be a planet there.
  2. Both sidebar and captcha are back on mine, even though I have all the adblock filters enabled
  3. Felt that way when it broke $7 two weeks ago. Always something on this ride!
  4. Other than the Play-In games, no Thursday games in the tourney this year? And some Tuesday games. Seems odd.
  5. I collect religious artifacts, so, I guess my holy grail is The Holy Grail.
  6. Odds on a Proactive video in the next 48 hours?
  7. Try goodrx.com, plug in the # of tablets you want per refill. Might be able to find it for 7.50. Don't need your insurance.
  8. Starting to dip my toes in this. Already made a mistake here and there but finding my way.
  9. I believe these two drugs were the ones who's medical codes were added to the system in December along with Leronlimab
  10. Well sure. "Blockchain" may be the future. "Decentralized Currency" may be the future. I don't see why Bitcoin, which owns patents on neither of those ideas, would be the precise implementation that wins in the long run. It's not built do to those things at scale well. I don't see why "Blockchain is good" helps Bitcoin specifically, nor why it should benefit. Bitcoin could very well be the Betamax/HD-DVD/Friendster of the tech, the first in but not the best execution. In fact, if digital currency is the future, it will de facto be something other than the Bitcoin implementati
  11. Kinda no one. Bitcoin is not a cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is a cryptoasset.
  12. Or say someone sees all the excitement in the other thread, and when it hits $10 he finally figures it's for real and buys in. Takes $10,000 out of his bank account and buys 1,000 shares. Then the price plummets down to $3 in ten minutes, he panics, and decides to sell half to get some of his money back. So he sells 500 shares for $1,500 which he puts back in his bank account. He's left with 500 shares and he's out $8,500 for them. Math says the average cost of the remaining shares is $17, that's what the stock price will have to rise back up to before he breaks even.
  13. They asked on last year's, there was a question about whether a person bought any
  14. This forum is atrocious on phones because of the junk like this. It's too bad Joe has decided to abandon usability.
  15. Big UTZ fan going way back. One of my favorite things about them is that they're so happy to send me free supplies if I put them in my movies/TV shows for product placement. What I love the most is that they're a very local brand, but, they show up in movies set just about anywhere because of the free product. Last week I was watching some movie that was set in Los Angeles, and clearly for the plot all set in Los Angeles, yet everyone was eating Utz chips
  16. IIRC, in the last ~10 years bonds have returned well below the historical average you see a lot of old investment advice was using to base their info on. I've heard some people say that while you used to want to have an allocation along the lines of 80% bonds, 20% stocks or 50% bonds, 50% stocks in retirement, given how things are with bonds now, even retirees should consider flipping it to 60% stocks and no more than 40% bonds in retirement or even the first few years of retirement. If you're 30 years out... I'd say keep bonds to 5% or less. It's good to have some money in b
  17. Looks like this is back, at least for me Not sure if my browser settings changed, or, if the site changed the layout ID to block.
  18. Saying they were reserved for law enforcement doesn't mean the same as first responders. Could be anyone police related. Heck maybe secretaries for all I know.
  19. Thoughts on an alternative spelling of Hugh... "Huw"? And for girls, I recently met a "Scenery".
  20. Yeah, Paulie is probably highest-ranking, but, also, least commanding of loyalty by the rest of the guys. I can't see the majority of them putting up with his antics and weirdness. He'd either get fragged by his own guy or eliminated by the NY bosses.
  21. Got a call from a nurse friend administering doses at Cal State Northridge that due to some issue, there were expected to be 200 doses left over at the end of today's appointments and to hurry over. Once the cases are opened they only have a limited timeframe to be administered or spoil, and the supervisor told her to get the word out to get people over there to get dosed. So I race over there and hit a mile-long line of cars. Waited for a while, then got turned around by police, being told they were out. Texted my nurse friend and she says "no, come in, there's no one here and we have al
