  1. He doesn't particularly catch the ball well, he doesn't run clean routes at all ... but he has skills once you can get the ball in his hands. This is pretty much the book on him since he was drafted. Nothing has really changed. The Vikings do not have a qb nor an OC capable of figuring out how to use Patterson. People on this site seem to overreact quickly to a single touchdown scored.
  2. Here is some comedy for you ... ESPN is posting a hypothetical trade that "makes sense for both teams" where the Packers send Jordy Nelson, Jon Franklin, and next years 2nd round pick for Larry Fitzgerald. What a terrible and completely unrealistic trade.
  3. Joe Gibbs second run really hurts him IMO. He she little ability to adapt to the modern game and really showed that he was stuck in the era he had already coached. He was the best during that era but I think was BB has changed in the coaching game is that coaches and teams are best when malleable (fit your system to the players you currently have available on the field and not vice versa.) Don't force square pegs into round holes when you can just change your board to fit your pegs.If BB isn't the best coach ever, he definitely is in the top 5.
  4. He has a 2-0 record against Indy in the playoffs ... last time I checked they were pretty good and had a pretty good QB.Phil Rivers gets a bad rap because of the way he presents himself on the field. Some of the ire is warranted but the guy has amazing talent and plays well against quality defenses.
  5. Yes although one thing that will come up if he continues on the way he does is that he will end up not being well liked by those outside of the SD area. He does have a lot of brat moments. Funny though, it doesn't seem like the team cares that he sometimes loses his cool.
  6. I won my FF championship with Thigpen so hopefully so.the similarities are kinda shocking. he will run for some yardage, he will throw for a lot of yardage because they will almost always be down, he will probably throw a couple picks and make a few boneheaded plays but as long as you don't get to heavily penalized ... those can be absorbed.
  7. Joe Webb, your #115 WR and no rank as a QB. No thoughts on him as a guy to stash in Minny? Favre can't play forever and Jackson is a free agent. Maybe at least a small blurb about Chilly's manlove for TJ?webb is light years from becoming a consistent thrower. Also, bchilly has proven that QB cultivation is not the strong suit it was supposed to be.
  8. but hey .... didn't he once lead the league in poise?
  9. I am a dynasty owner so I was happy to see some production. However he does not seem to have a good burst and will not rip too many long runs.
  10. There is a much smaller difference between 4.45 and 4.55 than between 4.45 and track speed. VJax doesn't have track speed. He has great speed for a 6'5" guy. Please show me clips of VJax outrunning corners on fly routes. As I just posted, Jackson ran a 4.38 at his combine. And at that combine, he weighed 241... now he is listed at 230. I think there is a decent chance that he is faster today than he was at that combine. And he had a 39" vertical at that combine. I assume both Jackson's 40 and vertical are much better than Irvin's... then consider he's taller and stronger/bigger on top of
  11. I see the complete opposite. People think Minnesota's line is good because it's good in Madden, but they have been a below average run blocking unit this year. Also, Tennessee runs tons of screens to get Johnson out in open space, Minnesota almost never runs them. Watch Chris Johnson highlights. On every big play when he gets the ball he's got 6 yards around him in all directions with no defenders. Peterson has yet to get the ball in that situation all year. It's remarkable that Peterson is putting up a 5.1ypc behind that line. Chester Taylor is averaging 2.6ypc behind the same line. Not t

  13. This seems to me like the Barry Sanders v Emmitt Smith argument all over again
