  1. Good stuff. Thanks. I'll be watching the next few weeks with interest. Short WRs have more of a chance these days with contact rules for defenses and they way offenses are run. I pay attention to small guys more than I did in the past.
  2. For those that didn't see the game: Taylor Gabriel Highlights I read somewhere that the Falcons made a decision to use him more as a regular WR this week instead of just a deep threat. This kid is explosive. I don't see how they won't use him as much or more every week. I show him 5th on the depth chart in Atlanta. Is that right? After this week he's gotta be considered the 3 after Julio and Sanu, no matter the chart. For Dynasty guys, could he eventually take the 2 spot in the future? I haven't watched too much of this guy. What are his flaws? How's his route running? Hand

  4. Yeah, he deserves a thread. I watched the game today, and the kid was non stop when on the field. Never stopped pursuing.
  5. Wasn't really a comment on The Commish's power, per se - more on the way ATB typed the name. Although, in the not too distant past, Goodell was swinging a much larger hammer, and if I'm not mistaken, he still is in the position of handing down punishment, and then being the same person handling the appeals of the same punishments, in many cases. (Or did they just fix that? I don't remember). Either way, was just commenting on the Slip, Greg.
  6. I don't know if that was a Freudian Slip or not, but it rings true in the NFL.
  7. This is correct. I recently had a warrant issued for my arrest. I was traveling and forgot to show up to court for a minor traffic violation. I found out about it, went in, spoke to the DA and paid the fine with court costs and walked out. Tons of others were in line for bench warrants as well - most of them for failure to appear or provide some sort of information the court needed. Everyone I saw just walked out after meeting with the DA. If Gordon takes care of this, I think he'll be fine.
  8. He's out today and not wearing a sling or anything. That's good news, I guess.
  9. Reks - The Greatest X. If you have a streaming service, give it a look (I know it's on Spotify). Strong lyrics, lots of nice producers and guest artists (Nottz, Large Professor, Apollo Brown, R.A. The Rugged Man, Akrobatik, etc...). Here's a link to a playlist on YouTube of the album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYhWZcKo8Yw&list=PL9PphsKbpuIUkOo-7CQ9CNPJOH6JQRWsV
  10. My most important question about this issue is: Did you just go third person?
  11. Come on, man, that's what he's saying. A FB in the backfield is a substantial change to a running game, whether you want to dance around that point or not. And it's not just the running game that that FB affects, it's blocking schemes and the way the passing game is run. Hence, the "Kubiak" offense. Seems you're arguing just to argue.
  12. Yeah, I had Forbath in a few leagues, and figured that was it. I just don't know enough about Lutz to swap him for Forbath. I'll just have to fish for another kicker.
  13. For his first four years in the League? Those are great stats. I believe his yards for his first four years puts him top 10 in the modern era. (edit - looked it up - it's 6th) His last full year with Luck he had 1,300/7 in 15 games. My point wasn't that he was "elite", where ever you set that bar for a 3rd year WR (the year he put up those stats), it's that I believe he should be going higher than 14th in the WR pool, and that there seems to be constant chatter every year of him losing the #1 spot in Indy, even though he has shown no signs of giving it up. I think if he was a bigger d
  14. A lot of people don't trust Hilton because of his build. Every time a new WR shows up on the Colts roster with a bigger physique, they are quick to latch on with something like "He'll overtake T.Y. as the number one before long" T.Y. just keeps ripping up DBs like he has since his rookie year. 4,400 yds and 24 TDs in 4 years. If he was 6'4" those same people would be drafting him at half the number he's going at now (around 14th WR off the board according to FBG averages) with Luck back at full strength this year. I like Moncrief, too. I just don't think T.Y. is going anywhere wh
  15. I don't know what to say. I can't argue with someone who writes " As to managing the game, Tebow seemed to do a perfectly fine job of that.." and believes it. I'm gonna go back and see if game pass still has any of his games. If so, I'll have specific examples of his horrendous play - sacks he took for 20 yard losses on key downs and points of the game, throw-aways that didn't go "away" and stayed in the field of play, receivers so wide open that Manning could have punted them the ball and completed it, yet Tebow threw it to the Gatorade cooler... on and on. Those are just from memory. I
  16. The Broncos wouldn't have been there. You know enough about football to know that in addition to being able to throw a pass, you have to be able to read the defense to know who to throw it to before you even attempt it. You have to be able to read a defense to know whether to audible to a run, to which side and the type of run play. You have to know when to throw it away (and actually be able to get it out of bounds) and when to take a sack. There's a ton of other things I'm leaving out, as well. Many consider Manning one of the best in the history of the game at all that. Tebow was horr
  17. "What if" people finally realized Tebow couldn't pass a football at the NFL level, much less QB a team to a Super Bowl.
  18. Mood dropped a new album recently: Into the Mood. Here's a few songs from it: The Maschine & Illness Also have been listening to Locksmith's newest album, Lofty Goals. He's an old battle rapper from a while back who's making some pretty good music now. Here's a great song from that album: For Now. Blinded shows more of his lyrical strength.
  19. I've got limited spots in my Keeper League. McKinnon is on the bubble (I don't really want to let him go).
  20. Those holding Ladrius Green for the last 3 years will believe it when they see it.
  21. Any locals hear anything on Luck? As a Hilton & Moncrief owner, I'm sweating bullets here. I know a report says he's out, but it's not official yet, I think. *Edit* ####, he's officially out. ####### ####### bull####.
