  1. Well the patriots have taken chances on guys with questionable attitudes before. Randy Moss. Albert Haynesworth. Belichick is so secure in his job that if he offers a small contract to Manziel and it doesnt work out, its not like they will fire him for it. And its not like the media circus can get worse over there.
  2. My prediction is the browns take sam darnold who will bust, then the bills trade up and take rosen and the jets win the lottery and get mayfield.
  3. i dont like the jets trade. The only QB id want out of this draft is baker mayfield but theres no guarantee be will be there. But now that you have the choice, he definitely MIGHT be there. If im the jets i target mayfield with the pick, then josh rosen, then ugh
  4. One big knock on Tribusky is that he was awful at feeling the pocket. When blitz packages came in, he would usually have no idea and get slammed and cough up the football. I'm not sure how well that flaw would show up in preseason but against a regular season blitz package it might be more evident.
  5. Tribusky probably gets picked high and busts. Kizer likely falls to the chiefs and andy reid will just fix his footwork and win a super bowl.
  6. I think one of the ways people make flawed analysis is that they rank prospects by flaws when they should rank them by flaws most likely to be fixed. Footwork is a rather easy fix. Fumbling and lack of pocket awareness isnt. So when people drop kizer for some inaccurate throws i think that poor analysis. When they gloss over tribuskys issues again i think that bad analysis
  7. I really dont like tribusky. People like his accuracy and ability to go thru his progressions but there are serious problems. He is absolutely terrible at reading defenses. He has no pocket presence. He will stand there looking downfield and get buried by some edge guy HARD. Cant see the blitz if his life depended on it. Also, he fumbles a LOT. He even fumbled once by accidently running into a referee!!!! That makes him sound like a cleveland brown right there. Id rather have kizer. Some may knock kizers accuracy but that can improve. Kizer has bad footwork but that is something
  8. Its possible nothing bad happens to him and he just goes and lives his life in the tabloids like Paris Hilton.
  9. If the Browns release him, there will a long line of teams waiting to sign him. At age 22, he's got room to grow. He develops a little more and he would be an upgrade for the Rams, Eagles, 49ers, Broncos, Chiefs, Jets, and Texans. Its such a QB hungry league I think one of those teams will give him a shot. The Chiefs would be intriguing because rumor has it that Andy Reid was going to select him until the Browns leapfrogged 1 spot ahead of the Chiefs to grab him. But, I think that's where manziel goes if they get rid of him. He'll go to KC.
  10. The concerning thing is that he relapsed and thinks (evidently) that it is no big deal.Didnt seem like a big deal considering the authorities did not pursue intoxication related charges despite manziel driving.Any relapse is a big deal. The problem is Manziel was supposed to leave that lifestyle behind. That means getting the drunk partiers out of his life so he can focus on his NFL career. If he's still dating this chick, that hasn't happened.
  11. The point was symmetry with earlier in the film where Mystique was masquerading as a military character to save mutants from government experimentation in Vietnam. She is there to save Wolverine from experimentation. So new wolverine doesn't have the adamentium skeleton and claws?Maybe who knows.

  13. http://www.aggiesports.com/blogs/aubreybloom/can-johnny-manziel-read-a-defense/article_8ef9c30e-a967-11e3-996b-0019bb2963f4.html I doubt he'll be able to do anything else.
  14. I'm not even sure you can evaluate Hoyer on his 2014 at all. He tore his ACL a year ago. Tom Brady tore an ACL, and the next year his numbers were way down across the board. It was actually one of his worst seasons. He didn't return to form until 2 years after the ACL. interesting point.but i don't believe he's going to be cut any slack for that. he is outplaying Manziel in practice and that is why he's starting. if they thought Manziel have them a better chance to win, he'd be starting. it's possible that could still happen this season. but the clamoring for Manziel every time Hoyer has a

  17. Actually what I think might happen with Hoyer is if he's given time to play, his skill set might expand. Remember, he tore his ACL a year ago. It takes two years to fully recover from that. His deep ball looked better before the ACL tear. His deep ball might return to form in 2015. I don't think he will lose the ability to win games in the 4th quarter. That ability never seems to be learned or unlearned. Once a player shows that ability, it stays with them for their career.
  18. He's having a season that looks somewhat like Alex Smith's in terms of game management. It's a winning style with few key mistakes. But his Y/A is 5th in the league, right between Peyton Manning and Roethlisberger. One other thing: he appears to have the support of the locker an the players when they're on the field. Brian Hoyer is not a game manager. A game manager is someone that limits his mistakes and can hold the lead if you already have it but if you are down in the 4th quarter, you are screwed. Hoyer WILL make huge plays in the 4th quarter to put you back in the lead if you are down. H
  19. I'll say it again since it apparently hasn't been mentioned. Hoyer's strongest attribute is his play in the 4th quarter. He has 9 starts for the Browns and 5 4th quarter comebacks. That to me is the most thing a QB needs to do. Its very hard to find a quarterback who you can rely on in the 4th quarter. Manziel might be a better QB but I doubt he can perform like that in the 4th quarter. Hoyer is unbenchable because of those 4th quarter comebacks. You cannot teach what he has. He elevates his play with the game on the line. Hoyer is a big game, big moment, pressure QB. However, he does
  20. This is correct. They(Disney/Marvel) can use the names/powers of the twins but any reference to mutants in any way is not allowed according to the agreement with Fox I'm conflicted by all of that. On the one hand, it would be cool to see an X-Men / Avengers / Spiderman crossover. On the other hand I think it would quickly get way too convoluted and the stories would be too filled with plot holes (Why not just have Charles Xavier mind control Loki in the Avengers?) and its better for them to all have their separate things.
  21. It's a much improved team IMO but that's a stretch given their schedule. I don't care about their schedule. Their pass rush is going to be absolutely terrifying. If you can disrupt the QB, you can beat anyone. If you put a Cam Newton under center for the Raiders they'd probably win 12-13. As it is they will probably show flashes and shock a team or two.
