Not an injury but James Washington has replaced Diontae Johnson
What is the deal w Claypool? Why has his snapcount dropped so much?

Seriously, is Tomlin gonna keep his word, or empty threat on benching?

False start put them in a bad position and then that was just a bad decision by Josh. No reason to throw it into double coverage like that.
Sort of, but with nothing else open, an INT there equates to a punt. But he might also get PI or Diggs makes the catch.

Glad to see the Steelers are gonna try and use the run game. 🙄

Depends on your matchup. But I'd say Davis for floor, Swift for ceiling.

Yeah mines 0.5 PPR. Thanks for your input. Everywhere I look has them rated differently.
Hunt hasn't done much in quite awhile and his early season TD rate was unsustainable. Not sure why is yards per carry has gone down so much. Dobbins is hard to watch bc they rotate RBs so often, but at the end of the game, Dobbins ends up out snapping and put touching the other two significantly. I think Edwards is underrated as a runner, but Dobbins has more game breaking ability. I am not favored this week and will most likely need Dobbin's ceiling.

Debating between him and Kareem Hunt. Same game so I can wait and decide.
Ditto. But most likely playing Dobbins for the higher upside (standard scoring league)

4 of the 5 Cowboys DB starters are out this week...making me think twice about benching Higgins.
Its a trap!!

I don't know what the coaches see, but this offense has become predictable to say the least. From what I see, teams have caught on when Claypool comes on the field every second drive to get his complimentary deep incompletion. Now, it's common to see him double covered since teams know what play is coming. No more jet sweeps or quick strikes to see if he can make plays like he did before. It all ended, and I'm not sure why. But DJ can drop 6 easy passes the last two weeks and keep running his five yard routes.

Tomlin is still a good coach. I would imagine they see what the public sees. Defenses are scheming against the short passing game and it has come full circle. They have to start getting a balanced attack of at least to a 60/40 split. They were at 80+% week 13 and 70+% passing week 12. That is ridiculous. With no run, there is no play-action. I'm also curious why Claypool's snap count has continued to shrink. He got outsnapped by Washington week 13. Really???? Not sure why Ben has been publicly pushing for more James Washington. Does he think Washington is more of a threat than Claypool? Maybe give Claypool some more of the route tree besides the deep ball.

Julio is out week 14 per Tori McElhaney
WTF. He makes it through last weekend, and all of a sudden is OUT. This guy is miserable to own, and has rarely paid off even when he starts.

So following an embarrassing loss to the WTFs (and I’m saying that as a Skins fan) is this the week Tomlin finally talks some sense into audible happy sandlot QB Big Ben and the Steelers try to establish the run instead of passing it 55+ per game?
Their D is losing players by the minute, Buffalo D is much more vulnerable to the run, and because of Pitt’s banged up defense maybe they should try to control TOP so Allen doesn’t carve them up like a Christmas goose. All this being said, the most likely outcome is glory boy Ben will just keep chucking and play right into the Bills preferred game plan. I’m unfortunately going to have to start Connor due to lack of better options and he should in theory be a good start this week. I’m prepared to be disappointed.

I don't think Lamar is going to have a long career as a QB. Once that speed subsided, he doesn't have much to fall back on.

At this point, they probably want to save him for the playoffs...
He actually has double the carries of the other RBs, but I agree. It's hard to not want more seeing the obvious talent gap in speed and play making ability over Ingram and Gus. He just has another gear.

Would it be a fair comp to say Marquis Brown is Santana Moss II in somehow a less pass-friendly offense?
Moss was a much more refined WR.

Makes no sense, bc they constantly stall in the RZ doing this carousel.

Harbaugh refusing to play Dobbins more is almost as dumb as Patricia waiting til his job was toast to play Swift over AP

Maybe John

Maybe John was hanging round his brother Jim for the holidays and some idiocy rubbed off on him

Seriously, Harbaugh still hasn't learned to start AND feature Dobbins over the other two?

Yup, this isn't the first time Mcdermott has done this. He's done this with both Singletary and Yeldon last year. More so with Yeldon than Singletary. 0 tolerance for fumbles. Understandable in real life, sucks for fantasy.
Moss should appeal. I mean the stats show Allen with the fumble, not Moss. Lol

Any insiders able to weigh in on why Claypool's snap count has been going down? Is he not "as advertised", still not fully able to handle the whole playbook, or just bad coaching? Seems a huge mismatch for most DBs
-
I like Gibson a bit more. Think his play making ability and another season to learn the position will only help. He's played great on a bad team.

Julio has a long history of going off or having solid games when he’s been limited all week / battling injuries.
Y’all wanna go against history have at it. There’s probably no player in FF rn I trust more in that regard.
I have no choice this week, but he has burned me numerous weeks with the above mentioned strategy. Julio has been a huge liability for me this year - 3 duds and 3 zeros (missed games). He is no longer worth the risk drafting as a WR1 with the lowered upside from his career TD allergy coupled by the inability to play through injuries like he used to. Looking to next year, I don't think he will ever be more than mid WR2 statwise.

Really hope they sit him out. It is well within the realm of possibility that his symptoms of illness are actually still related to the brain injury. Come on Bevell, show you are smarter than Patricia right out of the gate here.
They have to have clearance from independent doctor don't they? Not sure how the two matters would be related and still be removed from protocol by an independent.

Yup, except I doubled down and drafted Julio. Talk about a fail.
