Pretty sure the 3-4 complimentary remarks all contained caveats. He's good when he has time, and and with this o-line that has been rare. I am pretty sure just about every QB in the league is better statically when they have time to throw the ball. Once again it's about what the QB can do or get out of the offense when things are not going well. Cam Newton has elevated his game this year with a patch work receiving core. Do you ever see Stafford taking that step up? His production relies way too much on others performing well. No QB plays well behind terrible olines. Car has actually prote

I've said for a long time that I'm not a JFF fan, of his game that is. I never felt it would translate to the NFL very well. That said, he does have some skills that could help him get there. He has a good NFL arm and can make all the throws. He also has a certain magic when the play breaks down, which is surprising given his actual athletic measurables. He's just never learned to play from within the pocket or an NFL scheme and he allows his backyard style to become unleashed far too often and early. In a sad kind of way, it's like he plays in a way similar to his media persona, without disci

You know you have completely and totally lost the argument when you trot this out No, its stating the obvious. I'm not caring about winning an argument, I do not care about that sort of thing or vilifying a kid like JFF for being a kid. You do know he is about to be 23, he can drive a car, he can vote, he can legally drink, and he has entered the working world. You do know he is not a kid anymore, right? What were you doing at 22? Peoples expectations of people who play a violent game for our amusement is amazing. You mean like the expectations of the Clev coaches, personal and owner? He'

I'm not caring about winning an argument, I do not care about that sort of thing or vilifying a kid like JFF for being a kid. He is not a kid.He is a qb that was drafted in the first round. Once you start thinking of him like that work backwards then it all makes sense. How mature were you at 21? Acting as if being in the NFL means you are mature means you have not seen the same NFL as I over the past few years. First, hes 23. Second, just because there are other numb sculls doin

I don't know what you're talking about. I've already said it is largely about talent. I believe I said it was a primary reason. I also said talent wins 99.99% of the time. You don't seem to be reading what I'm typing...Why does some fictional scenario of JF passing for 300/3 a game matter here? He's not and he's not shown to be a good NFL QB. Pretty much everyone agrees that IF he was a good QB this isn't likely happening. He not a good QB and he keeps screwing up. Oh and I'm sure this behavior would still be a problem for Clev if he was good. It just wouldn't be enough to warrant this same r
