  1. Why would Clev beating a terrible Balt team who is riddled with catastrophic injuries save anyone their job?
  2. Listening to NFL radio the past few days it seems Clev isn't really that upset with the video and his partying. They are very upset in his lies and attempts to cover it up. The trust is broken. I don't think it's coming back.
  3. Cook. Who was the last successful QB with a career completion percentage of 58%? He's never even broken 59% in a year. Is this some sort of spinoff of your how many guys threw X amount of picks last year when you tried to derail Winston?I hate to do this in the Lynch thread, but since it's on the table... This is a very real red flag for a college QB. The windows to throw into at the NFL level are much smaller. If a guy can't get to 60% completions in college, that's a warning sign that he may struggle very badly at the next level. So why don't you look at the actual throws, offense, scheme an
  4. Pretty sure the 3-4 complimentary remarks all contained caveats. He's good when he has time, and and with this o-line that has been rare. I am pretty sure just about every QB in the league is better statically when they have time to throw the ball. Once again it's about what the QB can do or get out of the offense when things are not going well. Cam Newton has elevated his game this year with a patch work receiving core. Do you ever see Stafford taking that step up? His production relies way too much on others performing well. No QB plays well behind terrible olines. Car has actually prote
  5. I tend to agree here. If the hole is obvious, he burst thru it and looks effective and explosive. He doesn't pick thru the traffic well and doesn't seem to have enough power to run in any congested space. It's going to be tough to be an every down impact RB that way.
  6. He has moments of terrible lapses, but when he's not getting slammed to the ground every other snap, yeah he's been pretty good.
  7. We have to re-sign him. We have to do everything possible to keep this team together. I can't say it enough how much I enjoy watching this team. They have a good enough team to beat anyone, anywhere, so I hope they keep going and win it all.I don't disagree but man it's going to be hard to sign him. He's an unrestricted FA this offseason and arguably playing at the highest level in the league at CB. Top CBs are signing over $70M contracts averaging around $14M per year. That's a huge number and it hurts you ability to sign other players.Playing Norman what he deserves will inevitably change th

  9. Good stuff here. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14233577/josh-norman-carolina-panthers-says-dez-bryant-dallas-cowboys-disrespected-him
  10. Schedule or not, Cam is just too much of a TD vulture to ever feel good about playing Stewart. Cam now has 7 of the Panthes 12 rushing TDs, more than half. If Stewart was used more in the passing game it could make up for it, but he's only got 12 reception this year.
  11. Man, when Det is capable of actually protecting Stafford he looks like an All Pro QB. It's a sham they do it so rarely. The turn around of this team after the OC change is pretty amazing. Caldwell was a dead man walking. Now, he's almost assured to be back next year.
  12. He locked Dez up about as well as anyone I've seen recently. I think maybe Peterson did it as well a little bit ago. Dez got free 1 time on his post route but Romo missed him badly. Other than that, he was shut down and hopefully shut up.
  13. I like Smith, but it's close. Feel he has better instincts.
  14. J. Smith has a P. Willis type vibe to me. I just can't see him not being a great NFL player.
  15. Is he going to punt it to Benjamin? Lord knows he doesn't have the arm to chuck it there anymore given Benjamin's wheels.
  16. I'd like to see those numbers if you have a link. Games I've seen, granted not many. That certainly haven't been the case. Evans has struggled a great deal. He's 5th in the NFL with drops, having 7. I'm really not sure how they only give him 7 to be honest, though. I think he's had more than 7 in just the limited time I've seen him. Nonetheless, I agree he's better than Watkins.
  17. My current top 10 players in the 16' draft. Based on just talent, not adding in positional importance thus moving QBs up. 1. Ronnie Stanley, T ND 2. Joey Bosa, DE tOSU 3. Laremy Tunsil, T Ole Miss 4. Vernon Hargreaves, CB Florida 5. Jaylon Smith, LB ND 6. Robert Nkemdiche, DT Ole Miss 7. Myles Jack, LB UCLA 8. Connor Cook, QB MSU 9. Jalen Ramsey, CB FSU 10. Jared Goff, QB Cal
  18. I've said for a long time that I'm not a JFF fan, of his game that is. I never felt it would translate to the NFL very well. That said, he does have some skills that could help him get there. He has a good NFL arm and can make all the throws. He also has a certain magic when the play breaks down, which is surprising given his actual athletic measurables. He's just never learned to play from within the pocket or an NFL scheme and he allows his backyard style to become unleashed far too often and early. In a sad kind of way, it's like he plays in a way similar to his media persona, without disci
  19. No, he is just playing better. So you dont hear about his lawsuit that much and the media has no reason to attack him like JFF yet. Basically this says you judge a guy based off the news. You can't be serious.
  20. You know you have completely and totally lost the argument when you trot this out No, its stating the obvious. I'm not caring about winning an argument, I do not care about that sort of thing or vilifying a kid like JFF for being a kid. You do know he is about to be 23, he can drive a car, he can vote, he can legally drink, and he has entered the working world. You do know he is not a kid anymore, right? What were you doing at 22? Peoples expectations of people who play a violent game for our amusement is amazing. You mean like the expectations of the Clev coaches, personal and owner? He'
