  1. I think no matter the setup, you should keep Gibson. I'd be amazed if Gaskin "hits". Even if he does, odds are he still wouldn't have the job next year. Way too many unknowns for Gaskin.
  2. I think my answer hinges on the type of league this is. If dynasty, I make the trade for Chubb and try to get a little extra knowing the owner like Dallas. With Zeke's workload, I feel he's got about 1 (maybe two) more season(s) before he starts to have a significant drop off. I'd prefer to cash in while his value is still up there before he's tough to unload (especially if I could get Chubb in return). If this is a re-draft, then I think I would prefer to keep Zeke for this season.
  3. While Mahomes is great, you've got Tannehill. I don't think the drop-off from Mahomes to Tannehill would be as negligible as giving up those two picks. I would say stay put. As to who you should take with that 3 and 4 pick? Take who you feel are the two best players available. Personally, I think I'd definitely go Pitts (the ceiling is just so high with him) and then I would pull my hair out trying to decide the next pick.
  4. This would be an easy accept for me if I’m getting the JT side.
  5. I would go with the Brown side. Your team is already young with a lot of upside. If you trade Brown, I think you’d be giving up one of the guys that has the fewest question marks. Especially since he seems to be coming into his own. If you are trying to acquire Brown, then yes, I would definitely pull the trigger.
  6. If it was me, I would go Jones. Don’t over-complicate it. For many of the reasons said above, go with Jones.
  7. I agree with Mozeta on this. Dak will more than likely start off slow and I don’t trust McCarthy to put Dak in good situations. Thomas is on his way out of NO and we don’t even know when he will be back. I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t play at all this season. In conclusion, keep: J. Allen, Evans, and K. Allen
  8. This is tough. I am a little higher on Goedert than most (I think). If Philly ends up trading Ertz, then I'd be keeping Goedert. Goedert is rounding into form and right around that 3 and 4 year mark is when you typically see things click for TE's. However, if Ertz stays put, then I think I'm crossing my fingers and going with Akers. But even if Ertz stays, I think I could easily be swayed towards Goedert.
  9. If I was an Akers owner and that trade offer came across, I would hit accept in a heartbeat. Achilles injuries are absolutely brutal for RB's careers. There is always a chance he defies the odds and if he did, I still wouldn't regret the trade. Like Gally said, I would start with a much lower offer first.
  10. If there was one guy that you liked that much more than the other, then I wouldn't be making the trade. But since you are asking, then it is probably safe to assume you see Harris and Chase pretty equal. If that's the case, then I am accepting this deal. You get the extra pick and still get one of the two!
  11. In a start 1QB league, I wouldn't bother at all with this. You have Stafford and Roethlisberger. Keep the pick, unless you plan on trading away Stafford?
  12. I’ll go the other way and say DJ. I like his QB situation better. When DJ is healthy (and that’s not a guarantee) Big Ben peppers him with targets. And, Sutton is coming off an injury and will surely need time to acclimate. Give me DJ.
  13. I wouldn't cut him. However, Achilles injuries are brutal for RB's. He could come back, but will never be the same or have the same upside that he once had. I would try to trade him and take any decent offer, even if I thought it was poor value.
  14. Late to the party, but I would have said keep Stafford. However, if you do not trust Stafford, perhaps you could use him to find an RB?
  15. Gibson. He has the fewest questions marks.
  16. Maybe I misread it, I thought the OP stated the owner was trying to ACQUIRE Ridley. No?
  17. I use the trade value chart as a gauge when offering a trade. I will use it to determine if I am giving too little or too much. But as Gally said, knowing the other owners is essential. Chances are the other owners do not use the same trade value chart (or nothing at all) and are using their own valuations. Use it as a starting point to throw out a "fair" offer and then you can go from there based on the response of the owner. If they "accept it", then everyone is happy. If they don't, then you can get an idea that maybe they value that player a bit more or less.
  18. Easy decline. Keep Jefferson.
  19. The keeper rules could change this, but I would go Jefferson and Cook. Taylor would be really close for me, but I lean towards the other two from the track record. Lamb would be good value, based on the round, However with all that said, I think value is an overused and "overvalued" term. Go with proven players.
  20. I agree. I would send trade offers to any owner that has a top WR you like and see what comes of it.
  21. Thanks guys. I decided to just reject the counter. I had made the initial offer and he has now sent me three counter proposals coming down from each one after I rejected it. He may be more antsy to make the trade at this point than I am. I figure if he comes back with my original offer, I'll take it. Otherwise, I think I am perfectly happy to stand pat and see who falls to me at #5. It's hard to gauge who will go where in this league, but I'd be surprised if Chase or Pitts fell to me at #5, as mentioned in an earlier response. Since it is a start 1QB league, I'm thinking it's more likely to be a choice of Etienne/Smith/Williams/Waddle. I'd be happy with Etienne or Williams, so maybe I'll be able to snag one of them. As always, thank you for the feedback. If I remember, I'll update what happens.
  22. Owner came back with another offer. He took out the 2022 1st rounder. So now it would be: Give: Godwin, Woods, 2021 pick 1.05, pick 2.05, 2022 2nd rounder Get: CMC and Goff Still seems like a bit much. Thinking I might counter with either my 3rd rounder this year or next year in place of one of the 2nd rounders.
  23. Yeah. I declined it. Just too rich for my blood. Maybe he’ll come down from it in a week or two.
  24. Was looking at my squad and felt that I could be in a win now season if I made this acquisition. I sent an initial offer of... Give: Godwin, Woods, 2021 1.05 and 2022 2nd rounder Get: McAffery and Goff I knew I'd probably have to give more, but wanted to see if the other owner would be willing to negotiate. They were and sent this counter: Give: Godwin, Woods, 2021 1.05, 2.05, 2022 Round 1 and 2 Get: McAffery and Goff This is a 12-team ppr with the following starting requirements: 1QB/1RB/1WR/1TE/3 Flex/K/Def Current roster: QB - Watson; Tua RB - Elliot; D. Harris; Drake; Dillon; Ballage WR - Diggs; Godwin; Lamb; Woods; Boyd; Diontae Johnson; Hardman; M. Williams TE - Andrews; Tonyan This seems pretty steep, but that's expected if I'm going to try and acquire McAffery. Would you do it? Or is there a better counter proposal you guys would recommend? Thanks in advance.
