  1. Am I the only one hoping Sam Darnold and Dan Arnold end up on the same team?
  2. Starting Watson, Gibson, Cooper and Hockensohn yesterday feels like cheating. Not complaining.
  3. Goedert is in a very TE friendly system while GB isn’t considered the same at least to me. Who was the last great GB TE? Not saying Tonyan isn’t great but I think that plays into his valuation. And how much is Tonyan and not just the result of lack of capable receivers outside of Adams? What happens to Tonyan if GB suddenly drafts talented receivers?
  4. Went back and looked at snap counts from last week which showed 51% for Mo and 43% for Burton, Mo didn't start btw (I swear I saw his name among the starters but Ourlads thinks otherwise). Anyway, the snap count from last week seems to paint another picture. Mo got a PI in the end zone (which would have been a TD imho) so I guess you could argue he had 4 targets last week. My initial thought was that Burton is playing ahead of Mo, which was clearly the case when Burton was back from injury. Last game could be an outlier but I need points badly this week and think Mo offers more upside. Last two weeks Mo is 6-7-80-0, Burton is 4-8-16-0 (and one rushing TD). Sure, Burton could have a multiple TD game again but the yards have been lacking so far compared to Mo when both of them are healthy. Indy have been playing with a pretty depleted WR core the last couple of weeks. Hilton is back though and Pittman is slowly emerging which does add some uncertainty for Mo's role (I think Burton is the starter without Doyle) but I am still leaning Mo.
  5. Have both Mo and Burton and considering playing Mo. He started last week and seemed to run more deep routes than Burton. Both players are featured in the red zone just think Mo has the higher ceiling while Burton has the higher floor. Expecting the player I don’t start to go crazy obviously.
  6. Any source on this? Everything I have read says he is on season-ending IR.
  7. Denzel Mims coming back soon too, might be worth an add although starting any Jets player not named Crowder takes some courage. Demarcus Robinson playing ahead of Mecole Hardman is also notable, depending on the availability of Sammy Watkins. He is getting the targets and has chemistry with Mahomes.
  8. It was a strange game, he barely saw the field in the first half. Seemed like both Cedrick Wilson and Noah Brown played ahead of Amari and Lamb most of the first half, it was maddening. I think it was a gameplan thing, trying to run the ball as much as they could and I guess Wilson and Brown are better blockers but I honestly don't know.
  9. In dynasty I see very few scenarios where I would trade Chubb away at deflated prices. If you are rebuilding you are not competing this season anyway. If you are contending and lacking depth I see it but I would still not sell for peanuts. Absolutely love watching him play, he is a beast. He has performed in bad situations and is now on a Stefanski team which runs all day. Yes, he shares touches with Hunt, and there is risk Hunt will be the lead dog and it might take him some time to heal up. I still see it as a 1a/1b situation come playoff time where you will probably be able to sell him for more if you are out of it.
  10. I like Gibson, I really do. I am a Gibson owner and hope you’re right, the hype surrounding him just reminds me of another Memphis back, Henderson, and even though the book is not closed on him yet he didn’t live up to expectations in his first season.
  11. Keeping an injured Love for ages, finally healthy, he lights up training camp and then they cut him? Makes no sense at all. I know it’s the Football Team but come on. It’s not gonna happen unless he is not healthy.
  12. Dobbins to me is a long play. I don’t expect big numbers this season but could see that change late this season or next season. What really intrigues me about Dobbins is his ability in the RPO game. Paired with Lamar this could be lethal but they need reps and I have no idea how much time they will have this season in training camp to practice this. Might end up working out better IRL than in fantasy though.
  13. He received a lot of hype going into the season but it hasn’t really materialized yet. I see Patrick playing opposite Sutton on the outside and Hamilton in the slot. Hamilton can play on the outside too but the Broncos don’t really have a slot receiver (maybe Spencer?) so I don’t think Hamilton will get many snaps outside. His strength is his route running and I’m not sure it plays into the strengths of the QBs currently on the roster which seems to be more willing to throw it deep.
  14. Or the guy who just gave up Breida for Thompson to pair him with Williams. Ugh.
  15. Surprised to see Fant go so high and Hockenson so low. Hardman at 2.1 seems very high with Hill back.
  16. I thought the skillset of Flacco/Lock was better suited for a type like Sutton? At least they will throw deep more (and better) than Keenum.
  17. The Lions offered a contract which was lower than what Brown would get if he had signed what the Rams offered initially. It had guaranteed money upfront which is probably why Brown signed. So matching the Lions offer was a nobrainer for the Rams FO. Why the Lions did the Rams this favor I don’t know but maybe they were more interested in CJ Anderson and wanted to force the Rams hand. I don’t think the Rams signing Brown should be seen as a foregone conclusion that he is the man if Gurley goes down because of the contract at least. His skillset is probably more suited for 3 down work, though, compared to Henderson. This coming from a Browns owner btw.
  18. I wasn’t advocating for the Facebook group, quite the opposite actually. But it all depends on the purpose and content of the Facebook group.
  19. I happen to be a member of a van group which started out as a message board and later decided to have a Facebook group as well. The Facebook group seems to have become the main entry point for new users and a lot of information just stay in the group instead of being more easily searchable through the boards. So lots of the same questions popping up about technical issues and diy guides, and the message board just seems much more stale (maybe it always was, lol). Regarding anonymity, if it wasn’t there a lot of people wouldn’t post out of fear of league opponents listening in imo.
  20. Searching for specific things are really hard on Facebook, information gets lost really easily. I come to the message boards for opinions on specific players and I don’t see Facebook groups as a great match there. For news and discussion on recent developments I think Facebook groups fit but I am not a Facebook fan due to privacy concerns. I do use Facebook regularly though (unfortunately).
  21. LG Max Garcia was also lost to IR so the Denver OL is not exactly in great shape either.
  22. In the same situation, starting both, and not feeling particularly confident in that decision. I have a feeling we will se a similar approach as against Houston with more involvement of the TEs to avoid the pass rush.
  23. When I had my concussion, symptoms started 12 hours after the hit. So the answer to that question is I guess so. ?
