  1. Horrible look. Probably worst alternate in league. Not a huge fan of the all blue not they are way better than all grey.
  2. For the first time in a long time I was really into this game. I hate to ##### about the refs but as Biden would say "Come on man" That was robbery. The play clock expired by 2 seconds. I kept thinking why are they running this play? Clock has expired. Just saw Campbell on TV. Class act. did not whine about refs like we do. Just said "Hey if the opponant has to make a 66 yard FG to win the game, I like our odds"
  3. The delay of game call was missed by at least 2 seconds. The announcers said 5 seconds on the clock..then they never said a word after it expired. One thing that drives me nuts is the Lions are harrasing and putting pressure on Jackson. Then on 4th and 19 they only rush 3 guys and give him 10 seconds to let WRs get deep.
  4. Loved the video last night of the Euro team hammered and pounding drinks singing Sweet Caroline! Golf is a game you can still play pretty well with a hangover.
  5. Watching the MSU-Nebraska game and thanking Martinez for the win. For a guy who has been there for seems like 5-6 Martinez is horrible...even though his final stat line did not look that bad he missed so many wide open big plays that would have iced the game for Nebraska. Also he holds the ball way too long and ended up getting sacks and fumbles. For being as fast as he is he does not seem nimble to evade trouble.
  6. I guess it goes back to human biology and the science aspect. When one group has a proven and distinct physical advantage over another, it is fair to put them in the same arena to compete? Or if you had a female daughter who was an athlete would you want her competing against a male athlete in the same arena? Again, regardless of what you think you are biology says you are a female, or you are a male. That is something none of us can change.
  7. I do have empathy for the transgenders but having two daughters who have played college sports, having talked to many female athletes they truly believe the playing field is unlevel when competing against biological males. So do we punish one group to please another? Even thought the numbers are low they do effect and impact results and now can cause injury in physical sports. Separating athletes by biological sex is necessary because the gap between the best male and female athletes – at all levels – is dramatic. Serena Williams is one of the best female tennis players in history, she’s one of the best female athletes in history. In 1998, both Serena and her sister Venus famously claimed that no male tennis player ranked outside of the ATP Top 200 could beat them. Karsten Braasch, the 203rd-ranked player ATP player at the time, challenged each to a set. Braasch easily beat Serena 6-1 and Venus 6-1. “I didn’t know it would be that difficult,” Serena said after the match. “I played shots that would have been winners on the women’s circuit, and he got to them very easily.” At the 2019 New Balance Nationals Outdoor, the national track championship for U.S. high school students, Joseph Fahnbulleh of Minnesota won the men’s 100-meter with a time of 10.35 seconds. That same year, Olympic Gold Medal winner Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce ran the fastest 100-meter time of any female in the world – 10.71 seconds. Her time would have tied for 19th at the U.S. boys high school event. A world class Olympian female 19th at a high school event. One more example that’s a bit different: In 2012, Keeling Pilaro, a 4-foot-8, 80-pound seventh grade boy, petitioned the New York State Public High School Athletic Association to play field hockey on his school’s all-female team. It approved his petition. As a seventh grader, Pilaro made the school’s JV team. As an eighth grader, he made the varsity team. But players and coaches from other schools argued he had a significant advantage because he was a boy. During the summer before his ninth grade year, the league agreed. It ruled Pilaro could no longer participate because his “advanced field hockey skills” had “adversely affected the opportunities of females.” I point to these examples because, put together, they show that no fitness regimen, no amount of practice, and no reallocation of financial resources could allow the best female athletes at any level to compete against the best male athletes at that same level. This advantage isn’t simply a difference in degree – it’s not just that male athletes are bigger, faster and stronger – but it’s a difference in kind. Pound for pound, male bodies are more athletic.
  8. That is not physical competition. So then you don`t care about the minority of real females athletes who are actually impacted competing against trans males? Their feelings and well being don`t count? I am all for everyone living their life but biological males should compete against males.
  9. Was glad Campbell went for on on 4-1 as a FG was not going to win with the defense being so bad. Thought the Lions again had some questionable calls go against them. Too bad Goff did not see the wide open guy to his right. So Ravens next week means 0-3 start. Might be looking at a 3-13 season at best.
  10. Best thing about tonights game is I kinda liked the all white uniforms. OK..now I know why LA had no faith in Goff. Lions have no WRs but Goff is not the answer. Bottom line is the team basically lacks talent across the board. Sewell is going to be good but I just think the Lions are going to regret passing on Justin Fields.
  11. Watching some of the games this year and the kickers seem to hardly ever miss. Then I am watching guys making 50+ yard FGs and hitting high into the net behind the goalposts. The Cowboy kicker made a 53 yarder yesterday that would have been easily good from 63 yards. I checked the total FG % for all FGs attempted in the NFL. Since 2013 the NFL average for FGs made has been right around 86%. Year 2012 to now total FG % has held steady right around 86% With PATs still made a a 93-94% even moved back. Year 2000: Total FG %-- 79% Year 1990: Total FG %-- 74% Year 1980 Total FG %-- 64% Year 1970 Total FG %--59% 86% success seems way too high and without much risk. Of course a kicker will hook a short one once in awhile but these guys are like machines now. The advent of soccer style kicking made kicking a football much easier than straight on like the old days. Not sure what the answer is since they can`t move the goal posts back anymore. Goal posts are 18ft 6 inches wide now. Make them 14 ft would knock off 2 ft on each end to add a little more drama to each kick? Any other ideas to make FGs a little more interesting?

  13. I agree Tua is little and look like he might be somewhat frail for the NFL game. Watson to Miami is in the future.
  14. Nobody I know. I have 2 daughters who played college sports and they get disgusted on this topic. How does this problem get solved?
  15. This is a huge condundrum for Feminists and our government on how to handle this. So we have a biological man beating a women senseless and people are OK with that? I know the women fighters who compete are not OK with it. They are they ones we should listen to.
  16. Tough game. With no dog in the fight Chargers got screwed last drive when Herbert was called in the grasp. Cowboys tried to blow it as well at the end.
  17. Woodward did the reporting about Bidens decline but pretty sure everyone who has watched him already was aware
  18. Remember Patricks Ewings famous quote about being rich "We might make a lot of money, but we also spend a lot of money"
  19. Don`t remember hearing much criticism at all about not bringing Golladay back. Spending big $$$ on a WR coming off a injury with a team rebuilding did not make sense.
  20. Tough market right now for first time buyers. Add in the fact that the rising inflation and energy rates is hurting and impacting lower income familes has not helped as well.
  21. It really has nothing to do with any supporters of any POTUS. Does not matter if it was Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, Biden whoever. Does not matter if Trump picked Milley. Did Milley have clinical knowledge? Or was it a gut feeling? Why on earth would China even think an attack was ever possible? Milley should have been fired by now for the Afghan situation anyway but now he has to go. Shocked he has not resigned already. It is borderline treason by our highest ranking General...and I would feel that way whoever was POTUS.
  22. If they did it on the way up..no. After they amassed 1000 times more than they could ever spend.....yes.
