  1. Why would Howard want to do anything to help Artie or Stuttering John? He doesnt owe them anything. If I burn bridges leaving my job I wouldn't expect my old boss to help me out. Those guys owe Howard not the other way around. At least Artie is funny, but John is talentless.

  2. You guys seem to be thinking about a traditional car with some neat interface and a computer system that connects us to the car. It seems more like Apple and Google would be making a car that effectively is a computer on wheels. Why would Chrysler be better at this than Apple or Google? I'd have more confidence in IBM creating the next generation of world-changing cars than I would Ford or GM.

how do you expect apple or google to sell these cars?

  3. The FBI is now trying to negotiate with the protesters, but no progress has been made.

the negotiator hung up, Bundy handed the borrowed cellphone to an FBI agent and headed for a pickup truck for the 30-mile drive back to the refuge

Its beyond me, why they didn't arrest him right there.

At this point, I also don't understand why the government is allowing supplies in and out. Its time to cut them off.

Thanks NSA for passing this idea on to the FBI.

  4. Instead of looking at the classic line of political beliefs (Ds on the left, Rs on the right, liberals all the way to the left and conservatives all the way to the right) and use a scale such as the political compass I think there would be as much, if not more room between Clinton and Sanders than there would be between Sanders and Trump.

Not so much, assuming an American grid, Trump is a top right corner guy. Sanders is pretty far left on the economic scale and on the black bar for social scale. Clinton is mid on the economic scale, but upper 25% on social scale.

  6. On Saturday night, Bernie checked into the hotel I was staying at in Dubuque, IA.

Here's a pic of his bus.

My wife and daughter saw him in the restaurant the next morning and said that he wasn't very friendly. His staff was discouraging pictures, stand offish etc. You'd think he'd be as friendly as possible.

I was at my son's ski race in Dubuque, Iowa and Bernie checked in to our hotel last night. The Best Western on Dodge Street. My wife got his picture this morning at breakfast.

    Stalker.

lol...I saw the photo there first :D

Me too. I was about to accuse Chet of stealing the picture, then I noticed the username that posted it.

someone else posted that imgur link first. Chet is that other poster you also?

  7. New CBS/YouGOV polls put Sanders ahead in Iowa and New Hampshire - but the most interesting result may be South Carolina

    Clinton: 60

    Sanders: 38

Clinton is +22, but the same poll a month ago had Clinton +36 (and she was +47 in November). Sanders has made up 14 points - without the benefit of real momentum generated if he wins Iowa and New Hampshire.

If Bernie wins Iowa and NH, SC becomes a must win for Clinton. I think it is unlikely she would lose SC, bur if she did it would be over.
