  1. Was trying to come up with the best team that would've made it to the SB. This team would still be alive: CLE David Njoku - $2 IND Jack Doyle - $3 KC Patrick Mahomes - $39 Darrel Williams - $4 Tyreek Hill - $29 Mecole Hardman - $11 Travis Kelce - $34 Harrison Butker - $10 Chiefs D - $9 TB Tom Brady - $28 Leonard Fournette - $11 Chris Godwin - $20 Mike Evans - $20 Scott Miller - $5 Cameron Brate - $7 Ryan Succop - $10 WAS Cam Sims - $4 Steven Sims - $2 Weekly cuts were 105.7, 112.15, and 122.35. Scores for this team would be 10
  2. Good luck Mingooch! For those wondering about other serious contenders, I went through about 150 entries and found this monster... https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2020/104377.php - 11 players for $197 (but no Mahomes)
  3. Used O: BAL, KC Used D : TB, KC Week 3 Offense: GB Defense: GB Go Pack!
  4. Here are a few teams with a good shot at some bucks. Can you find any others? https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2020/101529.php - BUF/GB = $203 https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2020/103061.php - BUF/TB = $185 https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2020/100688.php - KC/GB = $142 https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2020/102014.php - KC/TB = $178
  5. I guessed correctly on the 4 remaining teams, found a cheat code and rostered 36 players for $477, and still got booted! BUF QB - Josh Allen - BUF - $40 = 16.60 RB - Devin Singletary - BUF - $16 = 5.20 RB - Zack Moss - BUF - $13 = 0.00 WR - Stefon Diggs - BUF - $32 = 24.60 WR - John Brown - BUF - $18 = 14.20 WR - Cole Beasley - BUF - $15 = 0.00 WR - Gabriel Davis - BUF - $14 = 0.00 WR - Isaiah McKenzie - BUF - $10 = 2.80 TE - Dawson Knox - BUF - $12 = 4.80 PK - Tyler Bass - BUF - $14 = 5.00 TD - Buffalo Bills - BUF - $11 = 12.00 GB RB - Aaron Jones - GB - $25
  6. I spent $250 on KC/GB and got booted as soon as there was a cut week 1. Even if I had advanced, I still woulda been 3 points short in week 2: Mahomes + Kelce = 55.05 Rodgers + Adams = 54.10 Total = 109.15
  7. Did you purchase the "Mulligan Package"?
  8. CLE (9 players for $65) vs TB (11 players for $159) = $224 Dunno if any of the 6K entries went max on CLE/TB, but rostering just Mayfield/Hooper and Brady/Fournette would've gotten you to week 2.
  9. Depends on which 2 teams make it to the SB. If it's a BUF/NO finals, the number will be high.
  10. Another tidbit worth mentioning - if you want to guarantee your entry will not make it to the finals, just finish at the top in week 1. No entry has ever been #1 in week 1 and made it to the big show.
  11. Just a little more history about this playoff contest. As far as I can remember, the top 12 teams are the prize winners. Let's check out those 12th place teams (data available back 11 years): 2019 - $216 spent on 2 SB teams (weekly cuts were 0, 105, 81) - scored 160 in SB 2018 - $139 spent on 2 SB teams (weekly cuts were 79, 126, 74) - scored 79 in SB 2017 - $114 spent on 2 SB teams (weekly cuts were 84, 138, 59) - scored 166 in SB 2016 - $150 spent on 2 SB teams (weekly cuts were 91, 145, 132) - scored 146 in SB 2015 - $82 spent on 2 SB teams (weekly cuts were 66, 128, 65) - sc
  12. Help??? Why is the right side of my screen showing all these stats about the thread I am in?
  13. FTR, you needed more than a few 1st week players, as proven by more than 2k entries that got booted with 1st week players. Just ask this guy https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2020/101883.php who spent $228 on 1st week players.
  14. It was actually 28 teams, because 1 entry took Corey Davis also, and he got nada.
  15. Only 28 entries out of 6156 had only KC/GB players. I was one of them.

Past winners 2019 - https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2019/101334.php 2018 - https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2018/100449.php 2017 - https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2017/100005.php 2016 - https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2016/106135.php 2015 - https://subscribers.footballguys.com/playoffcontest/2015/102130.php
  17. I put all 250 eggs in the KC/GB basket and was done as soon as the contest opened. Guessed wrong, but very happy to see 6K entries. Remember that list of 31 teams I posted on page 1? Well, after just 4 games, that list is down to 11, and will whittle itself down to only 2 teams with losses by CHI & CLE tonight. CHI vs CLE = $119 CLE vs LAR = $134 CHI vs PIT = $160 CHI vs BAL = $165 LAR vs PIT = $175 LAR vs BAL = $180 CLE vs TB = $224 CHI vs KC = $236 CLE vs NO = $238 CHI vs BUF = $249 CLE vs GB = $249
  18. Of the 49 different SB combos, you could roster all players for 31 of the combos: WAS vs CLE = $118 CHI vs CLE = $119 WAS vs IND = $119 CHI vs IND = $120 WAS vs TEN = $133 CLE vs LAR = $134 CHI vs TEN = $134 IND vs LAR = $135 LAR vs TEN = $149 WAS vs PIT = $159 CHI vs PIT = $160 WAS vs BAL = $164 CHI vs BAL = $165 LAR vs PIT = $175 LAR vs BAL = $180 CLE vs SEA = $181 IND vs SEA = $182 TEN vs SEA = $196 PIT vs SEA = $222 CLE vs TB = $224 IND vs TB = $225 BAL vs SEA = $227 WAS vs KC = $235 CHI vs KC = $236 CLE vs NO = $238 IND vs NO = $239 TE
  19. KC = $106 SEA = $75 CLE = $21 TEN = $20 BUF = $14 PIT = $14 The only thing that stood out to me, besides knowing your SB guess, is that your only NFC players come from 1 team. Was that done on purpose?
  20. Team breakdowns: BUF - $195 (11 players) GB - $184 (13 players) KC - $182 (11 players) NO - $173 (12 players) TB - $159 (11 players) SEA - $116 (13 players) BAL - $111 (10 players) PIT - $106 (11 players) TEN - $80 (9 players) LAR - $69 (11 players) IND - $66 (11 players) CLE - $65 (9 players) CHI - $54 (10 players) WAS - $53 (10 players)
  21. Should be loaded very soon. Links already have placeholders under "Contests", then "2021 Subscriber Contest - Postseason". First link will eventually be the entry form. The second link are the rules, and is currently last year's rules. Dates are pretty much the only thing that will change when it gets updated.
  22. Week 1 Offense - The Ravens of Baltimore Week 1 Defense - The Buccaneers of Tampa Bay
