Biden basically reminding everyone how government is supposed to work, like the AG not being his personal attorney, which is a good idea since all of our brains have been pounded into mush over the past 4 years.

Was Biden in his basement while Eric Holder said he was Obama's wingman, and later became the only AG ever held in contempt of Congress?  Maybe people's brains were pounded into mush more than 4 years ago?

This assumes they would be in lockstep toward the right goal. Odds of that are .2%. Too many favorites are always catered to.

I don't believe this for a second.  If the POTUS and every member of the Senate and House were in lockstep on how to attack this then we would be much better off.  This turned partisan and then fingers started pointing.  Total dysfunction by all levels of government - they all deserve blame.

THIS was never going to be partisan. Recall after Trump closed off China travel, Pelosi & Biden called it xenophobic.  NOW, Pelosi admits she will approve Covid Relief bill because there's a new president (and Bernie confirms it).  THAT is disgusting

There has been no significant voter fraud in the past, ever. Why do you think there is significant this time? We know  that there were millions that voted early nationwide. ( nearly 100 million) We also know that President Trump wanted people to vote in person on the 3rd so of the mail in votes, most are Democrats. I’d be more inclined to suspect something was out of the ordinary or mail in  votes were being disposed of if Biden wasn’t tallying thousands of votes over and above President Trump’s votes hourly

Haven't we been told for 4 years Trump only won because of Russian interference?

Why is it automatically assumed that if voter fraud is happening it’s exclusively on the Biden side?  Serious Trump supporters are as passionate in their love and support for Trump as I’ve seen in my lifetime, why is it unthinkable they wouldn’t cheat to keep him in office?

None of this fraud narrative makes any sense. People from all sides of the aisle have been attempting to cheat since the beginning of time. Luckily our system has gotten very good over time at not allowing this, as commission after commission after commission has looked into and found.  Widespread voter fraud is a dead end, accept the results and move on (as the Trump supporters have been saying about 2016 since well 2016).

Software used in a county in MI mistakenly counted Trump votes for Biden. Counters are wearing Biden gear in some places - you can't enter a polling location with anything promoting a candidate. Vote counting stops at 10:30 on election night & yet thousands are added to Biden's total overnight.  In 2016 there were voting booth issues/malfunctions that always favored Dems.  Now all those videos I'm seeing currently are likely manufactured by Russia, but I'm sure the media & Twitter would promote the heck out of videos with counters wearing MAGA hats.

  5. So nobody finds it plausible that there could be voter fraud or that it at least should be looked into with the videos coming out & anecdotal reports - aside from what Trump says?

We've all experienced a game where our team wins on a bad call.  Or a team we hate loses on a bad call.  After the excitement we can all look back, be honest with ourselves & say "I'll take the win, but we should not have won"

So, does anyone honestly think that without Covid, Trump still would have lost?

And further, can anyone honestly say Trump was fairly treated by the media & opponents during his term?  I don't recall Ben&Jerry's posting anything saying "don't worry liberals, Trump is not going to incite WW3, he is not going to tank the market, he is not going to overturn Roe v Wade"  And yet that was being stated as fact.  Even Mark Cuban, who is not too dissimilar from Trump in terms big ego entrepreneur, stated the market would tank if Trump was elected.

You really think Trump will spend his time "campaigning... around the country" for anyone other than himself?... especially "a sniveling coward"* like "Lyin' Ted"*.

    *Trump's words, not mine

True.  Instead he could get paid huge advances to write a book or create content for television based on being a President or VP.  Oh, that's right he already did that ON HIS OWN as a private citizen.

Do you really think anyone is in politics who doesn't have an ego?

Really good album closer.  I love the resonance of the guitar at the beginning and how it is reprised in the middle of the song.  I would like to have heard them do something with that ending, instead of just being tacked on to the end, almost like they didn't know what else to do with it.

This is my favorite.  Love everything about this song - intro, lyrics, structure, harmonies, the breakdown followed by Eddie ripping into solo. Alex is all over the kit - sounds like some jazz runs going.  And MA is stand out on the bass.  Combined with his harmonies, could be Mike's best song.

Like quite a few VH songs, this has a guitar-only intro that seemingly has nothing to do with the rest of the song, almost like Eddie had a cool guitar part and they stuck it at the beginning of a song since they didn't know what else to do with it, but it works.  The usual VH vocal harmonies are on full display in this one.  I don't rate this one as highly as I used to, but it's still a damn fine tune.

    Just a beautiful intro

  9. I've gone through numerous versions of tapes & CDs (yea I'm old, got vinyl too) from playing VH so much.  Best friend from HS texted me around 3 & shut my day down.  Bit my tongue telling my wife who of course knew what it meant to me.

Jim Kelly had celebrity softball games up here back in the Bills glory days.  I'm not one to go things like that as a spectator (as a FBG I only roll as a VIP, but I was just out of college).  However, Jim had befriended Eddie through golf tourneys & Eddie attended.  He didn't play, but was on field & you could tell from athletes that he was biggest star.  Bruce, Thurman, Bennet there along with Boomer Esiason, Marino, etc. (as an aside, will never forget most impressive at plate was Tasker).  After game all players & VIPs went to tent for food & drinks. I snuck around fence to where I could just see inside.  Lots of loud chatter for a bit & then Eddie starts noodling & place goes silent.

No I don't think so. Everyone thought Hillary would beat Don.

My memory is that Bernie took quite awhile to support Hillary, didn't do enough to squash Bernie Bros. Perhaps I am mis-remembering this and Hillary certainly deserves plenty of blame for losing probably was dismissive of Bernie as well.

I do know Bernie he has already supported Biden, has worked on messaging to support Biden (has called him what would be "the most progressive president since FDR" etc).

Probably because Bernie & his far left cronies have much better chance of being on Biden's staff than they did Clinton's.

Sure, why shouldn’t I be bitter and salty? The Bills have had to play a team twice a year that has proven to cheat over and over and over again. Easy for fans of other teams to act like it isn’t as big of a deal as it is when your team isn’t playing against the same cheating guys for 20 years. Tough enough to beat guys with so much talent, but infuriatingly tough when they’re cheating on top of it. I think AFC East fans have the right to be bitter and salty.

I'll get same treatment as Grove as I'm not only a Bills fan, but also Raiders.  But c'mon.  How many times can the same organization, under same leadership get busted for similar offenses?  The league looks at drug offenses & personal fouls as cumulative, but not stuff like this?

As political and self serving as they were, they would not have chosen to defy public health officials.
You and others love to play the “both sides” thing and a lot of the time you’re right, But ignoring or refuting science has become a Republican thing; Democrats and independents don’t do it.

So, how to explain Trump shutting down travel from China and then Biden calls him xenophobic & Nancy goes to China Town & says "come on out, nothing to be worried about"?  Oh, that's right, expert Fauci didn't agree with travel ban at that time so Pelosi, Biden et al were just following the experts.  Yet you think they would have stated a scientific reason other than "Trump is racist"

His schtick is so ridiculous, all these brilliant predictions and incessant Trump whining. We get it, everything is Trump’s fault. We get it.

Well it was Bush's fault for 8 yrs, then Trump was going to go to war & destroy the economy, when the market/economy exploded it was due to Obama's policies, and now the unemployment & market downturn is Trump's fault and nothing to do with the global pandemic.

I get the masks, the outdoors and even the generally younger crowd but it's still weird that it didn't even cause a blip yet. It definitely should be looked at in considering social distancing outdoors.

This could lend itself to 'that other forum' but many places have reported this story about de Blasio instructions to contact tracers to not proactively ask people if they've been to a protest.
