  1. At least historically, Brissett has been most successful using his arm strength to push the ball deep. That is going to be very difficult to do against Bradley's scheme. That's true he has some running ability, but that has also been a catalyst for him holding onto the ball way too long. If the Raiders can build a lead and Brissett is back there waiting for a WR to out run a cover 3, it's going to a very long day for him.
  2. Bradley is going to blitz less than almost any other coordinator in the NFL but it certainly still happens. The blitz the offense doesn't expect is almost always going to be to most impactful. Lamar Jackson's OT fumble is a great example of that.
  3. I agree they should shut Jacobs down for a week or two if that is what it takes. I'd rather have him healthy for the majority of the season than the next two games.
  4. Crosby reminds me a lot of Jared Allen. Smaller school, later round draft pick, endless motor, physically almost identical in size. Just give Maxx a mullet and they are identical twins.
  5. I know folks check in here to get a pulse on what is really happening inside the confusing media diatribe (good and bad) about the Raiders. My only advice to anyone taking a temperature on fantasy football potential is get Josh Jacobs on your roster. The price is an absolute steal.

  7. Not just a good pick. A fantastic pick and trade; absolute home run. That was best player available, filling a roster need, and aligning with a scheme all in one package.
  8. 100% accurate. You could tell them to all go out and sell oranges as a cure for cancer and they would have a polished presentation ready before Monday morning.
  9. Prices/sales in the Midwest are exploding in the last 2-3 weeks. Everything is sold in 48 hours.
  10. People working at home are also working.
  11. It's crazy to me anyone would not take a vaccine for a nasty virus. I am two weeks after my second dose now; never felt better. Anyone not getting these shots are just scared; we need to give them the same talk kids get when they get the vaccine for polio.
  12. Yep, definitely a short term and long term plan coming together now.
  13. Best live venue I have ever been to; not even close.
  14. Scott Drew has had an impressive coaching career; obviously peaking in impressive fashion as of late. He has made a great situation for himself and it would be hard for any team to lure him away from Baylor. All that being said, Drew was never a consideration at Indiana for historical reasons and the disinterest was mutual. The Woodson hire has to be taken apart in layers to really unpack it. This is a BIG10 thread though and it's not worth breaking down a few decades of Indiana's struggle with their own identity to bring out the minuttia. On the surface it's copying what was unlikely to be but ultimately successful for Michigan; Thad Matta changes that entire dynamic though. There is not a single team beside Indiana that is excited Matta is coming back into the conference in any capacity. Woodson has seemingly, instantly, won over the existing roster and their families by bringing TJD, Lander, and Geronimo back in short order. Xavier Johnson from Pittsburgh was a very highly regarded transfer and just signed up. The local rumor is Keion Brooks is leaving Kentucky for Indiana this week. Did I mention Tom Izzo's associate head coach is coming back to where he started?
  15. Beard's buyout drops significantly on April 1st. Absolutely no reason to hear about his next move until next week. I don't think he will be back at Texas Tech next year, but I'm not sure if Indiana is the destination.
  16. 24 hours after 1st dose of Pfizer...I feel completely normal/fine. Could not have been easier.

  18. Nobody knows anything...it's been very quiet. The initial push was for Stevens for sure, but that was more procedural than a real shared interest. I think Beilein is the safety net; which sounds ridiculous because he would be a huge upgrade. It seems like there is someone targeted between those two extremes though. Oats has a massive buyout and I am not sure there is an appetite for that with donors after paying Miller to leave; I've been surprised before though. This entire process started well before Indiana's season was actually over. So it certainly seems like they are waiting on someone still coaching. I guess we might find out this week if that happened to be Beard.
  19. You did good...but anyone could beat us if we do that. Carr attacked safeties more effectively deep with less time in the pocket than Mahomes. Take the loss.
  20. You were condescending and did not respond to any facts presented in response. Take this loss and hope it's not a game plan for other teams to follow.
