Germany a bit unlucky to be down here, but not sure I like the way they lined up either.  Havertz is not in the game.  Gnabry is a bit out of position, I think you gotta put Volland in here.  Kimmich is getting nothing done up the wing against Hernandez, I'd sub him off.  Get more down Gosens side.  If it were me, Havertz Kimmich out at HT, Volland, Neuheus in.  Push Gnabry out wide, put Volland in the middle.  France is very difficult to play against however.

Havertz has been off the entire first half.  He's seemed to stop a lot of potential attacks.  

I agree w/ both your subs.  (Kimmich because he's too close to being sent to an early shower with the yellow already and how he's playing.)

Honestly, given the way the two sides have played the last year I was impressed with Germany - not a ton of chances but enough and lots of possession.  They are just a Hummels body control error away from maybe looking like the better side.  I've never been sold on Havertz - and to be fair he hasn't had a lot of opportunities - I'm not sure who they have behind him but I could see swapping him.

I did see that.  Didn't think there was a foul either way, just Hernandez holding him off and being stronger on the play.  Inadvertent boot to the head.... 

Just barely caught the play though.....

It's very possible that 3 of the semi-finalists could be in this group.  If they all advance.

I was in the process of typing how impressive Germany has been this second half when Mbappe "scored".  Still think they've looked really good.  This second half performance team could win the whole thing.

 
Rooting against a German equalizer here

France clearly the superior side amd getting the short end of the stick on some close calls
