Not sure what happened to De Gea but thats no way to get to Real Madrid.

As for Young, well, he's Ashley Young.  Dalot should be in there.  Shaw would be in there (damn yellows).

And they seemed to start brightly, got a few chances, hit the bar...  Then Young to Messi.  Then Messi to De Gea.
That start was fantastic. Gave a glimpse of what they're capable of on attack going forward. Thought you reflected well on Ole, even if the team was let down by individual errors.

They've been such a joy to watch.  Haven't seen a team this fluid in a while.  Really hope they win it all.
Looking back at the Europa League final a couple years ago when United beat Ajax 2-0 and its pretty obvious what's making this team tick.  There's one player who started for United that day and for Ajax yesterday ...  The incomparable Daley Blind!

There's the goal for Liverpool. Porto was looking really dangerous with plenty of open looks at goal.

But, that should seal it. Can't see Porto scoring 4.

Sounds like Liverpool are getting Red Starred or Napolied today.

But then Mane sticks one in and VAR overturns the offside decision.

3.5-0 Liverpool.

Nah, Liverpool played poorly in those games, they aren't today. Porto are no mugs, they have been working hard and are doing really well. They (Porto) are huffing already though.

It looked a lot like when Ole first took over.  Multiple players getting forward, getting chances, closing barca players down quickly.  Then the 2 goals and the team lost all desire.  Lost the mentality of its not over until the whistle blows.

Where is Blind playing for them?  I always thought he could have been a good holding MF but not in Jose's system.  And LVG kept playing him at defender.

Yep.  Liverpool did exactly what they needed to do.  Soak up pressure and hit Porto on the break.  Porto were always going to go all out for goals.  It didn’t work.

Can’t imagine being a Tott fan right now.  I’d be a basket case. What a game.

18-5 shots; 1-3 goals (with a shocker of a miss from Mane as well)

Mane, Salah and Firmino all on the scoresheet.  5-1 aggregate and Liverpool are through to meet Barca.
