Had to be red IMO. Denied a goal with hand ball.
it was the forward motion by his arms that probably did him in.

Beat me to it. He knows nothing about it, and if he'd kept his arm down he might have been OK. It's the semi-swat after it hits that got him in trouble.

Can they give a PK without a red in a case like that? i.e. the ball's going in if it doesn't hit his arm, but if he hadn't moved his arm towards it.
I think once you call the pen i.e. it’s not accidental, it has to be red for denying a goal.

That little shrug forward with the upper right arm makes it hard to defend once you see the whole thing, but there's nothing he could have done to prevent the ball hitting his arm initially.

United with a lucky 3 points after probably deserving all 3 last week. Solid performance but Wolves played really well and were unlucky not to score. I was concerned about this game because you just knew United would get their best game. 0 goals and points on the season and having United at home in front of their fans. For that reason, it’s a good 3 points ahead of the International break.
Traore is just a beast and is basically impossible to defend in the open field. I wonder if a big club would take a chance on signing him thinking he could open up defenses to let the goal scorers do their thing. He’s really fun to watch.

Nice get a 2 point deduction, 1 suspended. 3 matches behind closed doors. Marseille match must be replayed behind closed doors at a neutral site. Payet got a 1 match ban but it’s suspended. Another teammate got a 2-match ban, and a Marseille physio got a 9-month touch line ban.

He's been around so long it's hard not to take him for granted, but what an amazing player. Those first two goals... woof.

This is the first time in years my son or daughter are not playing Saturday morning rec soccer. I am pretty excited about todays slate of matches. I will have to set the Alarm for Palace and Spurs, but I think I'm gonna. Is number seven actually gonna get out there for United today? My mind immediately jumps to wondering what Carlos Tevez is doing these days. YNWA.
