I was at the CAFE watching it with the one bartender whos a Milan guy. Didn't expect a win but we played well and despite being dominated could've won. I hate Liverpool so much. Pretty cool to see little Daniel Maldini match his CL debut though. Now that these guys have the Jitters out I want to see what they can do the rest of the way. Just give me competitive matches and if we get out of the group cool. More $$$ and more experience gained for the younger players. Before the Henderson goal was happy with a point share

btw ment to ask you but have you watched the Suburra Series? Italian series similar to Gomorrah? Its about the Mafia and the corruption in the Vatican in Rome. There's a movie but it's no longer on Netflix and wondering if you knew anywhere I could stream it with English subs? One site I found the Subs are like 1 min ahead of the scene. Series is on Netflix and I think they finished the final season filming for 4 seasons. It has a lot of the bigger Italian Actors and one of the reasons its done is cost for the main male actor now as he got so popular so now has other gigs and cost More to keep around. Sorry for bit off topic here.

He beats defenders at will down the line and then hits his crosses to the opposite side line.

There was a play around 75min or so where he had two team mates flat out wide open on the far post- no defender within 10'. And he launched the cross into orbit.

Etcheverry used to do that a few times a season for DCU and I've always wondered why more players don't do it when someone's encroaching on the restart to slow it down.

ETA:  @El Floppo or anyone else who played at a high level -- why don't more players do this?  Just crush it right at the guy if he's blocking a free kick restart?

Not sure I've ever seen a 3-0 match where the winning GK was man of the match.

"Scoreline flatters Liverpool" is an understatement.

xG disagrees, suggests 3-1 was a fair score.  Didn't feel like that kind of game at all watching it.  Would have guessed all those chances Palace had in the box where Alisson disrupted or saved the shot would have added up.
