As Don Meredith would sing, "Turn out DeLigt, DeParty's over."One of the big clubs is going to notice this DeLigt kid if he keeps playing like this.
Thought you might go with the apropos, "Afternoon DeLigt".As Don Meredith would sing, "Turn out DeLigt, DeParty's over."
That start was fantastic. Gave a glimpse of what they're capable of on attack going forward. Thought you reflected well on Ole, even if the team was let down by individual errors. Not sure what happened to De Gea but thats no way to get to Real Madrid.
As for Young, well, he's Ashley Young. Dalot should be in there. Shaw would be in there (damn yellows).
And they seemed to start brightly, got a few chances, hit the bar... Then Young to Messi. Then Messi to De Gea.
They've been such a joy to watch. Haven't seen a team this fluid in a while. Really hope they win it all.Great results today. Love the Ajax run is continuing
I was on a TO or would have come and posted - I figured his head exploded.Oh I can't wait to hear GB BMavericks thoughts on Young so far.

Looking back at the Europa League final a couple years ago when United beat Ajax 2-0 and its pretty obvious what's making this team tick. There's one player who started for United that day and for Ajax yesterday ... The incomparable Daley Blind!Major said:They've been such a joy to watch. Haven't seen a team this fluid in a while. Yes - it's possibly I crossed a line with one or two of those. I blame Sinn*Was it for your work in the Tiger thread?![]()
Nah, Liverpool played poorly in those games, they aren't today. Porto are no mugs, they have been working hard and are doing really well. They (Porto) are huffing already though.Sounds like Liverpool are getting Red Starred or Napolied today.
But then Mane sticks one in and VAR overturns the offside decision.
3.5-0 Liverpool.
It looked a lot like when Ole first took over. Multiple players getting forward, getting chances, closing barca players down quickly. Then the 2 goals and the team lost all desire. Lost the mentality of its not over until the whistle blows. That start was fantastic. Gave a glimpse of what they're capable of on attack going forward. Thought you reflected well on Ole, even if the team was let down by individual errors.
Where is Blind playing for them? I always thought he could have been a good holding MF but not in Jose's system. And LVG kept playing him at defender.Looking back at the Europa League final a couple years ago when United beat Ajax 2-0 and its pretty obvious what's making this team tick. Yep. Liverpool did exactly what they needed to do. Soak up pressure and hit Porto on the break. Porto were always going to go all out for goals. It didn’t work.Nah, Liverpool played poorly in those games, they aren't today. Porto are no mugs, they have been working hard and are doing really well. They (Porto) are huffing already though.
City - Totts is insane. I know Spurs have a lot of guys out but their defense is a mess.Looks like I'm missing some fun games
says the de gea fanIts really the MFs in front of them.City - Totts is insane. I know Spurs have a lot of guys out but their defense is a mess.
They are done. I turned it off.I'm not saying Totts is done here but Ajax-City would be fantastic to watch for neutrals.
Agree, it's over. They are done. I turned it off.
