Wow, a massive result for TFC.

Missing a ton of starters, playing their "home" leg in Florida, they beat the Liga MX champions 3-2 on aggregate.

MLS teams are 3 for 3 advancing.

Philly is up next.

MLS showing out so far.  A legit two-legged win over a top Mexican team doesn't happen very often.  If Philly can get a result against Saprissa that's all five teams through to the Q-finals.

This TFC game was a shock to me.   Even with TFC at full strength, I thought Leon would have been better.  TFC winning this game with USL level talent is impressive.

I do wonder if the next couple layers of the American prospect iceberg have arrived in MLS and raised the level of the depth players.  This all just feels different to me -- taking routine, easy wins against the lower level CONCACAF teams and playing the Mexican teams tough almost every tie.  Obviously MLS isn't going to be able to keep the tip of that iceberg, but there will be a LOT more in those next tiers that could make the league better top to bottom.

Surprise from Concacaf but BLanco wasn't suspended. Kai Wagner got some retribution in the first few minutes with some venom on a fair legal tackle on him though.

Thats another straight Red Card!!! WTF are these refs seeing? They pick these guys out of High School or something? This is embarrassingly disgraceful

Monteiro is a nice little player.

And Philly is bossing this right now right up until the balls into the box.  They look like the better team by a fair bit so far.

Kacper your friendly Striker goes up like his Ghost name sake and puts a header into the ole onion bag. 2-0 Union 3-0 Aggrevate.

Nothing says ultimate payback tonight to Saprissa like running up the score here.

Santos comes in for Kacper the friendly Striker

El Capitano Bedayo gets off as Quinn Sullivan comes on for his 2nd cap with the SR team. And the Kids are giving Saprissa hell in the box

Absolutely no extra time as the Ref wants to get on an early flight back to Mexico and not let things get out of hand after last Wednesday's affair.

Union win their first CONCACAF 2 leg in club history. Play All in 2 weeks

Assuming Columbus does not face plant at home tomorrow, I think this may be the first time MLS has advanced all 5 teams to the quarter finals.
