As the story goes this song was written when he had become an outcast in his city because of that date-rape accusation. It's incredibly depressing, but oh-so-good.

Not sure what the reception/projected draft slot would be in this draft, but with only 6 Radiohead songs draftable total, I couldn't let the opportunity to get one of my all-time favorites slide by....

I know that they had technically played live versions of this before Kid A came out, but this still qualifies as a 2000-2009 song, right?

Well, I thought about what my favorite song of the decade is, and I guess this is it.

1.15 Muse - New Born (6:03)

No video, but here's the song. Muse really broke out artistically with this, the lead track on their second album, which was DUMPED by Madonna's label for not being radio-friendly enough, and wasn't even released in the US until after their third album. A little proggy, a little wanky, but I still think this tune totally smokes.

My favorite song. Taking the Knives Out release, where it's a B-Side. Slightly different from the Amnesiac release, with an extra 30 or so seconds and a trumpet solo introduction. And God was I worried Radiohead would be tapped dry by the time I picked.
