Other than Peterson and Jones-Drew, there is no better back to have this year than Rice.

With guys like Forte and Slaton being up and down, and other guys like Westbrook and Tomlinson looking like they're aging a month every week, the pre-season top ten is starting to look like a joke.

Is there anyone you'd rate higher than Rice from this point forward?

Did Ronnie Brown die over his bye week or something?

Oh and don't look now, but it seems Car remember that they were able to win football games by running the football. D. Williams is about to make a serious move IMO.

No..and I was thinking what I could have done different drafting 4th..no RB drafted from 3 on is performing.

LT-nothing, hurt

Gore- hurt

CJ- 1 good game

Sjax-decent, no TDs

Slaton-pretty good

to carry it on further

Barber- hurt

Thomas- hurt

Grant- decent at best

Mcfadden- nothing

Ward-bust

Turner-decent, inconsistent

Williams-decent, inconsistent

Westy- decent

Bush-not good

The guy who drafted late and grabbed, Moss, Andre then took chances with a Rice, Benson is looking good right about now.

Exactly what I did in a PPR startup dynasty league this year. Actually traded away my 1st rounder and 4th and ended up with 3 2nd rounders, and took Wayne, Randy, and Steve Smith. Took Brees in the 3rd. Then took Rice and Benson later. Granted Smith has been a bust because of Delhomme, but also took Sidney Rice later, so all is good. I scored 215 yesterday and have scored the most points in the league by a pretty nice margin. FF IS about luck, and I was VERY fortunate to get Rice, Benson, and Rice as late as I did.

I still prefer Ronnie Brown, but it may be closer than I'm willing to admit.

I'm just glad I didn't trade Ray Rice in every league I owned him in, just most.

Either you don't own him or you're not particularly superstitious..

Interestingly enough in both of the leagues I am in when I pull the list of RBs from top to bottom for weekly point average they are in this listing.

1 - Adrian Peterson

2 - Ronnie Brown

3 - Maurice Jones-Drew

4 - Chris Johnson

5 - Cedric Benson

6 - Ray Rice

Yea i lucked out this year and didn't draw a bad spot to pick but there is nothing you can do. People were joking about the guy who took Brees in a 4pt for passing td 1 pt 25passing yd league and that pick looks alot better than most of the running backs you would have been looking at the 6th spot. I think you have to be able to take chances or hit later in the draft on some rookie/upside plays to have a chance.

Actually, I do own him and out of six weeks, I've only started him twice.I've used such excuses as, "He's splitting carries with McGahee" and "Vikes never give up running back touchdowns".It is a lesson learned and he is now officially on the every-week-starter list.Of the guys mentioned, Ronnie Brown and Cedrick Benson are on par with Rice, but Chris Johnson and LT are definitely not. CJohnson still ranks high in everyone's YTD scoring, but it was all in one week. Last year Brett Favre was a top five QB for more than half the season all because he had that ridiculous six TD game early-on. We all know he wasn't getting it done for his owners consistantly.

DeAngelo looks pretty solid.
....against the Bucs
we can play that game all day. Brady is average unless he plays the Titans.... blah blahMJD's 6 of 8 td and his only 100 yard games came against the Texans and Rams. So what?
I guess I posted that because I own D-Will in the majority of my leagues and I haven't been given a giant boost of confidence by his big game against the Bucs. I watched him play Wash the week before and he looked terrible.

You must own LT. I'm sure there's a support group for you guys somewhere. Maybe down the hall from testicular cancer?
