League overview;
LEAGUE FEE--$50.00--everything included, no additional fees for f/a, etc.
Fees pay the MFL site fee, the remainder of the league fees all goes into
the leagues prize pool. 13 regular season weeks and 3 weeks of play-off games.
ALL FEES COLLECTED AND DISBURSED VIA LEAGUESAFE
LEAGUE SET-UP AND PLAY- PLAYBALL is divided into three 4 team divisions.
Teams play each division foe twice per season and all other teams in the
league once over a 13 week season. One week each season, determined by MFL
random scheduler,each team will play 2 games in that week to make a 14 game
regular season.
STARTING LINE-UP--1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 1DEF/ST, 1 PK
PLAY-OFFS--3 division winners and 3 wildcard teams make our 3 week play-offs.
SCORING--half-backs and wide recievers-1 point for each 20 yards rushing/receiving
and 1 point per reception
quarterbacks-1 point for each 50 yards passing
touchdowns-scoring based on distance of score
KEEPER/SALARY CAP HYBRID, each teams 1st 3 draft picks go back into following
seasons draft. Salary cap is 1.6 million, salaries determined by previous years
scoring. Undrafted players from the draft day salary list may be acquired as
f/a at 1/2 of their draft day salary.
Players that don't make the salary lists may be drafted/picked up at 20k.
Generally speaking, top scoring player at each position will have a salary
from 200-250k.
KEEPERS-any player drafted after the 3rd round(25 round draft) may be carried
to the following season. Any player carried will take the owners draft position
3 rounds higher than drafted in the current season and at a 20% salary increase.
Owners may elect to carry any/all/or none of their possible carries into the
following season.
TRANSACTIONS-
F/A-pick-ups begin following the 1st game of the season(owners must have a legal
starting line-up at the conclusion of the draft.) One(1) F/A period per week. Owners
are restricted to 2 f/a pick-ups per week and 1 player at any position. Owners must
have an open roster spot and salary cap room for any f/a pick-ups or include drops
with their f/a requests to make said room or cap space. (25 player roster)
I/R-PLAYBALL allows players being placed on their teams IR/PUP provided they are on
their NFL teams I/R--PUP LIST. While on their PLAYBALL owners team IR those players
will not take a roster spot or salary until their return from IR, this frees up a
roster spot and that players salary to use for f/a replacement/s.
TRADES-PLAYBALL teams are allowed to trade players and draft picks provided trading
teams have roster and cap space to do so.
