This is the same exact league as posted in the other thread so just so people don't skip that thread..

I'll give you more of a story on me supposedly "whimping out." Pretty much either May 18th or May 25th was going to 'tentatively' be our draft's starting date. I check into my leagues in the offseason roughly 1-3 times a week, if not more. I go out to dinner and come back to an email saying that RGIII has been selected as the 1.03 pick. I'm thinking wtf is going on?? Draft was not suppose to start for another 3 or so weeks. I posted in this thread saying, "Why wasn't there an email sent out about starting the draft? That's really absurd. I don't mind starting it early but I just feel like this league is ran piss poorly." I get the response of "WOW buddy I just started it I was getting around to it... No timer was put on why are you #####ing about it???? Im sorry I didn't send out an email I put it on Message boards... The commish is not supposed to send out an email for every decision he makes... check the site next time. It's how the league has been run for 6 years man..."

This isn't the first time something absurd has happened in this league. After three other owners and I joined this league last year and finished our dispersal draft, we had an open free agency without blind bidding or any sort of waiver priority. Then there was no announced trade deadline. Now this commish bumps the draft up about three weeks without any emails, but I receive and email to pay my league dues?? This commish is unorganized and doesn't know how to run a league imo. I'm in 9 dynasty leagues, 2 in which I commish myself. I know I'd make sure with all of my owners that everyone either knows the draft if being moved up to a certain date so they can adjust accordingly. After that last message he posted, I felt there was no need to be in this league anymore because of how unorganized it was ran and I didn't feel like it was a good investment because of that. I posted one last message telling the commish how he should give everyone a notice of such irrational decisions he makes on his own, among other things, which he promptly deleted after I ended the message saying I was quitting the league. Good luck to the other owners that are in the league as I hope they can eventually come to their senses and have someone else take over control of the league so it doesn't fold.

Amazingly I guess a league mate found someone from one of their other leagues that took my old team. Feel bad too all the other owners that stay in the league with that commish for another year.

Just be glad you do not have to deal with him any more. I was in Mike's (T with T) Dynasty Sharks league with Dan from DC. We did not get along with Mike because we kept insisting that he follow the rules he created. That really pissed him off. I won the league and he tried withholding money from me for the 2012 entry fees even though his bylaws said that ihe would pay in full if that was what the winner wanted. You would be amazed at how much he fought me on that. He then said he'd pay me in full (he immediately changed the bylaws to say that he would withhold the next year's fees), but he had the PayPal fees taken out of my winnings. When I called him on that, he denied it and lied by claiming the money had been in his PayPal account the whole time so he didn't know why PayPal withheld the fees. I found 4 leagues in which he was commissioner or co-commissioner with his 1 buddy. Most of the owners seem to be the same. The "outsiders" seem to be the ones who do not get along with Mike because we complain about things like how he suddenly decides to open the waiver wire after the season even though it was not on the league calendar. That move got complaints in each of his leagues from the "whiners" and "whimps" (love his spelling). I left behind a good team, but I got the satisfaction of taking the clown's money and am thrilled that I do not have to deal with that jerk any more.

You did the right thing by getting out of his league and warning others to stay away. Hopefully people who see these messages will heed the warnings.

all of my leagues are run fairly, I pay people when there supposed to, I allow freedom to trade and manage teams how they want and Im open to new ideas and ways to make the league better. I run 5 leagues and haven't had a problem with most, only a select few who insist on doing it there way and if it isn't then they whine, cry and complain and post false crap on line to other fellow ffootballers and try to ruin my name. You can ask all of my league members that are in my leagues and they will say that I run these leagues fairly.. FFootball is an evolving sport. I posted that the draft was starting with no timer because guys wanted to get it going, vacations, errands, etc were coming up later in the month. So me being a fair commish posted online a draft was starting with no timer. All of you guys complaining are in and out of leagues and don't stay in leagues long enough to know what is going on... BRUTAL COMMISH??? how so tough guy?

that's a total lie, when did I lie about sending you winnings. I told you straight up I took next years fees out thats how I run all my leagues... wake up man quit trying to throw me under the bus because your out of my league.. First of all what rules didn't I follow... The bylaws are old and were made from Frank wahoo who was a MIA commish... That doesn't mean I have to follow all the bylaws to a tee how he did it. I run my own leagues and dates and times are different then how he had it set up.. It's ok we all know your a little girl and can't seem to play with the big dogs... I also sent you all your money in full but your just incompetent

As an outsider looking in, if multiple people are leaving negative reviews....I wouldn't join.I've had commissioners run off with $$, change their rules along the way, and they get irritable when people question them not following their own rules. As a result, LeagueSafe is a prerequisite for me personally joining any league anymore.You're screwed with PayPal if that's the way you pay. (I believe there's a 45-90 day period to file a dispute....It's shorter than the NFL season whatever # of days it is)

How do I talk down to owners???????? After I got disrespected, called names and questioned on my integrity im sure the would piss off anyone... Maybe a few of my dates changed for drafts and so on but no major rules were changed along the way. You really should have just reversed those early Jan waivers. (Like mentioned, your calendar specifically indicates waivers ended when playoffs began. Makes little to no sense to have waivers open -- unannounced -- for a few days).

I'd quit too if things throughout the course of the league went unannounced. (Or things started on a different schedule -- like the draft) It takes a simple email.

The whole "This is MY league I'll do what I want" attitude isn't going to keep guys around year-in, year-out.

I'm amazed that people like this are able to function day to day. The internet is a beautiful thing. It's one major black eye though is that it gives people like this a voice, when in all seriousness, no one should ever be exposed to what goes on in their little heads.
