IDP 5 takle bonus, heavy sack

Looking at all these lists it would seem the strongest value picks in many leagues so far have been:

Colston (or the best WW pickup of the year)

Walker

Winslow

Gould (likely a WW pickup in many leagues)

Many of the other top scorers are players who were expected to put up big numbers like LT, McNabb, the Bears' defense, Gonzalez etc.

QB Manning (by one point over McNabb)

RB LT

WR Colston/Javon Walker (tie). Holt is one point behind

TE: Crumpler

PK: Gould

DST: Ravens

For all the naysayers, I have to add that the best team in my league has the Bears D and K which has him eeking out W after W. So, in hindsight, the K and D do matter, but who the H was going to preseason know that Robbie Gould would be leading the NFL in kicking?!?

Gould 06=Racker 05, so far anyway

I have the Bears' defense and kicker, too, and I'm the No. 1 rated team in my league.

Mind you, the likes of Marc Bulger, Javon Walker and Brian Westbrook are all doing their part.

It certainly matters in my league. Last season, I scored over 2,000 pts & missed the postseason by 2.3 pts.

The reason we draft kickers late is not because they don't matter, it's because they're so difficult to predict. In my main league...

QB: McNabb by 13.74 over Manning

RB: LT by 35.64 over LJ

WR: Andre Johnson by 8.2 over Colston

TE: Winslow by 7.1 over Crumpler

PK: Gould by 23 over Kaeding

DEF: Ravens by 5 over Bears

WCOFF Leagues (PPR)

QB McNabb (212)

RB Tomlinson (241)

WR A. Johnson (164)

TE Winslow (116)

K Gould (105)

DS Baltimore (107)

Mcnabb

LT

Walker(just becuase of 2 big games, 25 and 38 PTs)

Right. I wasn't talking so much about where you draft these guys, but more about staying on top of things even if they are the "lesser" positions. If you can pick up a hot kicker like Gould or maybe a TE like Owen Daniel, it could be the difference in having a successful season or not. Gould's outscoring kicker #2 in my league by about 2 pts per game. See my previous post for how much difference that can make.
