We'll plan to start the rookie draft within days of filling this opening, followed by the free agency auction to finalize rosters for the upcoming season. The roster is very solid (Barkley, Walker III, Addison, Smith-Njigba, Worthy and Kincaid with $134 million in cap space. The only downside is that this team doesn't have their 1st round pick in 2025 or 2026, but used those picks to acquire good players on the roster. In 10 years, we've never had an owner leave a team behind without their first round picks so we're considering requiring a partial-down payment on a future season for trading 1sts going forward to curb any situations like this in the future. For that reason, we're discounting your 1st year to $25 instead of $50. The roster is still plenty good and there will be plenty of opportunities to add valuable pieces in the free agency auction with so much cap room.
