Here's a blurb I found at the hotwire about how Everett is doing well, and in fact, it looks like he will be able to walk on his own down the road. Great news.

ESPN.com reports Buffalo Bills TE Kevin Everett (spine) has been able to walk to some extent as part of his rehabilitation, according to a Buffalo television station. Doctors in Houston, where Everett's rehab has been ongoing since mid-September, are optimistic that once Everett completes his rehab he will regain his ability to walk independently.
