Draft timer will start time between Sunday and Tuesday. Owners will be allowed to draft 24 hours after we get our final owner. The ability to draft will start by Saturday 100% of league dues paid out minus fees associated with MFL and leaguesafe.com.
Basic rules:
fractional scoring
6 points for all TDs
1 point per 25 yards passing
1 point per 10 yards receiving/rushing
.5 PPR
-2 points per fumbled lost/interception
2 points per 2 point conversion
A few major notes:
1. Initial draft would snake in every round but the 3rd (so team draft 2.01 would also get the 3.01 pick, team with 2.02 pick would get 3.02 pick, etc.).
2. Replacement owners each season will partake in a dispersal draft that includes players, picks, and free agents from abandoned teams.
3. Given the closeness to the regular season, the draft will be a slow draft with a 5 or 6 hour time limit per pick with the clocked turned off between 11 pm EST and 8 am EST each day.
4. Probably a four team playoff. 50% of winnings will go to champion. 25% will go to runner-up. Remaining 25% still to be determined. May give Toilet bowl champion (teams 5-8) a portion to discourage end of season tanking. If I go with a 6 team playoff, 3rd and 4th place will each get 12.5%.
5. Changes in scoring require 100% league approval.
6. I will process most tradtes as soon as I see them. In just about every case I will. If I don't, I will email each owner asking to explain the reasoning for the trade and then most likely process it.
7. Start-up draft picks can be traded and next year rookie picks can be traded. Rookie picks two years and beyond can not be traded.
