Have you thought about a dynasty league but don't like having an owner get lucky one time and dominating year after year? Do you like IDP but don't want a 50 round draft? Do you want to be in a league that's fun, competitive, and will stay together for a long time? This is the league for you.
We are in year 2 of our dynasty league. We are expanding to 12 teams and need 1 more owner. I have another owner interested but I don't have money yet so until that's done, we'll want 2. Most of the league has at least 10 years experience and some have 20+.
Draft will be online. September 4th. I will have a clickydraft board set up so you can draft easily from anywhere. League is managed through MyFantasyLeague. We handle payments by check or paypal but we would entertain other online secure options if that makes the difference.
Offense: 1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 1TE, 3Flex, K. Full Point PPR scoring. Defense: 1 DL, 3 flex defensive players. Up to 8 keepers with 2 round draft penalties from the year before. Most teams keep 3-4 players and almost all of the top guys will be available for the regular draft. The roster is flexible so owners can adjust to the players they like. If you want to run run and shoot, go for it. You want to run heavy jumbo, game on.
This league is tailored to drafting. We have a 2 round rookie draft, regular full draft, and supplemental drafts during the year. Helps to keep balance so no team gets too strong. If you join us, you would get either the 1st or 2nd pick in this year's rookie draft.
Our scoring system is slightly different than standard. Nothing weird but we have adjusted things so that players with big games and those that score TDs benefit. We also have worked hard to balance scoring so that all positions are really important. Top defenders score about as much as top offensive players.
One last thing. We've adjusted payouts so that there are a lot of options for owners to make some money. Top 4 and loser's bowl champ make money. Top points each quarter get small payouts and league scoring champ gets a small payout. This keeps it exciting all year. We are adding trophies and plan on keep taking this to another level each year.
