12 Team PPR Draft Advice (1 Viewer)

All,

This is my 3rd year playing Fantasy Football and my second year playing in PPR format.

I am normally pretty good with playing the right players week to week, but i struggle with following a good draft strategy.

I never know if I should draft 2 RBs first and then 2 WR or throw in a TE or QB and in which draft rounds.

So i am just looking for a good position drafting strategy that has worked well for people in the past with a 12 team PPR format.

This year I am drafting 7th and have one keeper player (Jordan Howard RB)

Right now my strategy is to draft a RB in the first round either LeSean McCoy or Melvin Gordon and then draft a WR in the second round and go from there.

What draft strategy normally works for you guys?

Thanks for the help!

Note: This is not an auction draft and is a normal snake draft.

Good start at RB for your keeper. That should give you more options when it gets to you at pick 7. I'm always a fan of taking the best player available and not sticking to any exact draft process. I loosely set my plan and am free to deviate if needed. I would say have a plan for either RB or WR, depending how things play out.

Sorry not much of an answer but I think if you can get a good RB in that position, great. But, don't pass up a great WR just because you're planning something else.

Good luck!
