If the words Best Ball, or Super Flex, or using kickers or Team Defense fill you with dread, then I do not blame you if you have already moved on from this post. Or if you are already over committed - then I totally understand. Otherwise if you are familiar with MFL10s, or like Best Ball and / or SuperFlex leagues then I hope you will read through, and if interested, will let me know by either sending a PM or posting your e-mail! Preference will be given to owners who can prove previous dynasty experience. Only 4 Spots Left ... Best Ball Dynasty - so optimal lineups will be used14 TeamsLineup:1 QB2 RB3 WR2 TE1 Kicker1 TD1 Superflex11 starting spots19 bench spots30 man rosters15 player minimum at any time - 1 player per position (except TD & Kickers - but with 14 teams dropping them may be a mistake)ScoringAll positions get 6 pts per TD (pass, run, receive)0.20 points per carry0.75 PPR WR1.00 PPR RB1.25 PPR TE.1 point per rush/receiving yard.2 points per return yardOtherwise pretty standard scoringScoring designed to bring some balance back, since most owners would agree that, especially with PPR, it is a WR dominated landscape right now (28 of the first 36 picks in my last mock draft were WR). Aim being to give multiple ways to build a champion - and YES kickers & TD will be used - so owners will likely want to draft one. Cost - $15 - paypal 14 x 15 = $210$110 for Champion$55 for 2nd Place$15 for 3rd Place$30 for Future / Empire Pot - basically $30 goes into pot each year and goes to first owner to finish top 2 in 2 consecutive years, and restarts again ... IE Year 2 $60, Year 3 $90, etc.MFL fee I will cover out of my own pocketMostly Year Round Waivers (like trading will end after Week 12 and restart after all owners paid up for future year) - but with 14 teams and 30 man rosters I would expect waivers to be slim pickings at times (as intended).$500 annual FAAB that will roll overDepending on when league fills - the draft will either start on Tuesday April 26th and include Rookie Placeholders in Startup - otherwise the draft will be in late May and rookies will be included in the startup.5 Round Rookie Draft (future years if rookies in startup)Picks tradeable for 2 future years (ie 2017/18 this year) - the ONLY caveat being is that if you win $$, your earnings will pay for the future years - so basically owners cannot sell the farm, take 1 years winnings (or Empire Pot) and run - not that you win much haha.To be honest, I was/am tempted to just run a free league, but I wanted to give owners some monetary reward for partaking and felt $15 would be an easy buy in for interested owners. Because of the low buy in I decided not to go with LeagueSafe since that eats into the small profits. If a free league is more appealing to the majority I would be fine going that route. So since it is SuperFlex, most owners would put QB if you have 2 starting QBs, but in a 14 team league with byes, that might not always be possible, but with optimal lineups, at least you will know your best remaining player will get in the lineup. If it is not already obvious - the concept is intended to be unique (14 Team Superflex!!), while the intent is to balance between hoping to have owners use as many tools as possible to build a solid best ball roster, have fun, not worry about $$ but still give someone a bit of a reward for winning, and most owners feel $$ = activity. So in essence a low key, easy to maintain league that is still different & stands out from the crowd due to the settings. Thanks again for taking the time to read & consider this.
